Rules for game.

Rules and regulations for Short Pitched tournament.
1) Each team will contain a maximum of 6 same players throughout the tournament. Any change in members will result in disqualification.
2) The no. of teams participating will be divided into groups of 4 teams each where they will play each other.
3) The first two teams of any group will qualify for quarter finals.
(In case of tie, team with more runs will qualify)
4) The tournament will be played as per timings prepared by the organisers.
5) Any team failing to reach the ground on time, will be penalized by giving a walk-over to the other team.
6) Each team will play 5 overs out of which one bowler can bowl a maximum of 2 overs.
7) Wide and no ball results in 1 penalty run. Byes runs are there but leg byes are not allowed. Over-throws are allowed.
8) The circle for the game will be a 30 yard circle within which the batsman will have to score runs. If the ball lands directly outside the circle, he will be given out. There is no pace limit for bowlers but beware of byes behind.
9) Umpire decision will be the last decision.
10) Rest of the queries will be answered and cleared on the ground itself.
11) Registration fees is 300/- which has to be given to the respective organisers by 23rd of March.
12) Ball, bats,wickets and refreshments will be provided. ( you can bring your own bat as well)
13) Play the game like a gentleman, since all engineers are smart enough.
