New district, New adventure! I will be teaching 2nd grade Independent studies 📚

This is what I’m doing this year. This year is overwhelming and I feel like I’m drowning in stuff. So, I have to remember this. I encourage you all to remember this because we can only do what we can. We’re human and cannot do the impossible! So, do what your best because that is enough! ❤️

This year has been off to a wacky start. I trust that it will all settle down and I will be able to create more TpT resources that fit our new education climate. More to come soon! But for now A happy start of 1st and 3rd grade!

2020-2021 Started and ended in the most unusual way. We started 2nd grade and kindergarten homeschooling. Then in January I went back to the classroom, on Zoom, and so did my kids. After spring break I went back to in person teaching, but my kindergartner stayed on Zoom. It was the longest, shortest school year, if that makes sense. I am always grateful for the challenges and all the lessons learned. Next school year will be different, with updates coming soon.

More teacher outfit ideas. Its the cardigan sweater for me that make it a teachers outfit😉. Also the pink tops are cute, but wrinkle super fast. I know I should have worn my leopard sneakers with the white pants. Maybe next time. I just wanted to wear my new MK sneakers.

It's been awhile and SOOOO many changes!!! This school year has become one to remember.
First, we started homeshooling. I planned and organized and almost lost my mind. It was not working for my 2nd grader.
Then in December, I got a call asking if I would cover as a long term-sub. Honeslty I was ready for a change, so I accepted. I re-enrolled my second grader in virtual school and there we went. Then my kindergartner wanted to go to virtual school. So I agreed thinking my assignment would be over soon.
I was asked to stay until the end of the school year and it has been crazy teaching online at home and keeping up with my own children's school work. Some days I feel like supermom and other days are total fails. After springbreak there are going to be more changes, and really, what a better way to end this crazy school year? With more changes!
