If your legs are aching from the weekend run, or you have difficulty getting to sleep then I suggest taking a look at Epsom Salts. These go into the bath and provide a source of magnesium known to soothe muscles and mind.

Tight lower back?
It might be a tight psoas muscle.
1. Lay on your back.
2. Lift a leg on to your chest
3. Hold leg close to chest. Hands around shin or thigh.
4. Stretch opposite leg out at an angle along floor, flex the foot, this will activate muscles in the leg.
5. Hold stretch for 5/6 long breaths
6. Work both legs equally.

Hamstrings, quads & lowers back.
Quad stretch
1. Bring 1 leg forward, keep knee over ankle
2. Lean/lunge to open back leg
3. If you have the flexibility bring the back foot up & draw it in towards your buttocks (place a cushion under you knee to protect it) If you can't reach foot continue with the lunge.
4. Hold for 3/4 good long breaths
5. Ensure you do both sides

Simple yoga stretch for Easter Sunday!
**Hamstring stretch**
Kit: You need a yoga belt, tie or dressing gown strap.
1) Lie on your back
2) Loop the belt around the ball of the right foot
3) Left knee bent foot on ground
4) Stretch right leg up
5) Leg is straight, if not you need it nearer to the ground.
6) One hand on each side of belt
7) Breathe, smile, relax hands and shoulders
8) Lengthen leg
9) Backside stays on the ground
10) Point toes towards you, push heel away
Option - stretch out left leg, stop if any pain.
Option - lift your head up to your leg
Hold for a count of 30.
Repeat on other side
Yoga = still and comfortable
