We sometimes have clients say, 'I'm not a museum person" and we can get that. But then they hear about the balsamic vinegar museum, the prosciutto museum, or the parmigiano cheese museum, and it's a whole other thing! 😁😜
A visit to any of them while in Emilia Romagna is a tasty idea! We happen to highlight to museo dell'aceto balsamico! Most people don't realize how long it takes to create real balsamic vinegar.

Just over an hour from Rome but a world away is the cute hill town of Caprarola, where the pretty ambiance of a medieval town and its winding streets and beautiful countryside would be enough to attract you. But this town also has a pentagonal palace on top, built by the powerful Farnese family, and it is a stunner! The opulent and unusual palace, its gorgeous gardens, and the views all make it worth a day trip from wherever you may be staying in Lazio or southern Umbria!
