As of a June 2021 Equifax has changed their scoring system. Although they have glossed it as a much simpler way to read your report this can cause many individuals across the UK to lose out quite a lot financially.
How? you ask...Well In the old system you were rated as an Excellent credit consumer under the new rating, you can be downgraded to Good. This means all the juicy low rates you were once privy to have been swiped away. This means when you want to re-mortgage you can be hit with higher rates.
