One of the most celebrated holidays in Sweden.

The song about the SMALL FROGS is a favourite when dancing around the May pole.

Midsummer has been a recurring theme of the Swedish classes this week, and Små Grodorna is one of the songs we've learnt.

I wish you a nice Midsummer 🇸🇪

Tomorrow, Thursday 16/5 I will talk about how we can help our multilingual Kids to progress and enhance the Swedish language. You can of course apply this to any other language.

I will also talk about how I use the multilingualism as an advantage when the children are learning Swedish.

There will be time for discussion where we can share experiences.

How to follow the path to language success...

That is a question for our students who are going to sit their Swedish Exams, or are competing in the English Contest, The Big Challenge in April.

The exams our students are taking are:

🟢 Swedex level C1 - is a proficency level following
the Common European Framework of Reference
(CEFR).

Swedex is an internationally recognised certificate
In Swedish as a foreign language.

🟢 Sofia Distans subject test in Swedish taken by one
of our teenagers following Marilingo's mentoring
program. The test is taken in year 9 (Swedish
school system) and our student will receive a final
grade in Swedish, even though he is living abroad.

The beauty with Sofia Distans is that Swedish
children living abroad can follow the Swedish
curricula and syllabus online.

🟢 The Big Challenge is an English Language
Contest for students in Europe (primary and
secondary school), and this year we have two
students taking part in the Contest.
