🏝️ Florida is sunny and beautiful, but with that comes humidity, heat and bugs. 🐛 We don’t want those annoyances to keep you from exploring all that Florida has to offer, though, so we’re sharing our tips for navigating the heat, humidity and bugs while on your next adventure in the sunshine state. ☀️
1️⃣ Bring your sunscreen, bug spray and buggy bands. We personally love Murphy’s Natural Oil Repellant Spray. 🧴
2️⃣ Keep cool by packing wet towels in your cooler for the beach or packing clip on fans that can attach to your beach chair. Don’t have something for your fan to clip onto? Never fear! There’s pocket fans that can fit into your purse quite nicely, and there’s also fans that you can wrap around your neck.
3️⃣ Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. We love to pack a reusable water bottle that we can fill on the go. We also recommend getting Liquid IV packets to put in your water for extra hydration. Pedialyte is another great option! 💧
4️⃣ Always remember to be flexible with plans. They may change due to weather. Expect random downpours not announced in the weather forecast. Look for local, indoor activities and/or shops. And most importantly, have fun! 🤩
