Easy like my Thursday morning luxurious routine 💆‍♀️ (sunscreen not pictured)

Features 5 PR products from , , & .

I mentioned on my stories earlier this week that I’d let my pores go for a few weeks and because I have such large pores across my nose they were reeeally gunked. I’ve been using BHA for the last few years because it works really well for me for clearing the excess sebum and shrinking the appearance of my pores (pores are normal, and they don’t literally shrink nor disappear despite what many brands’ marketing claims may say 😅) so I got back into my routine with it. I literally just pat a small amount on my t-zone after cleansing every other day and I can visibly see the sebum emerging over a few days- gross but satisfying 😏 Paula’s Choice excitingly added me to their PR list recently but I bought this particular bottle.

Do you have any long-time skincare favorites that just work for you?

I received the Pat McGrath Celestial Divinity palette complimentary from Influenster for review and I could cry at how stunning it is 🥺 so far, I can say it is EFFORTLESS to blend. Cannot wait to share more!

It’s just a bunch of Hocus Pocus 🧙‍♀️ guys I really don’t buy into collections but this one was made for me. My fave childhood film AND I loved the color story of this palette, so here we are with the Gather Round Sisters Hocus Pocus palette.

Swipe to see my swatches- the purples were a tiny bit patchy which is predictable, and Brew Potion was very chunky so I’ll need to be careful with that. They look beautiful to me though and I can’t wait to try them!

Was anyone else persuaded by this collection? 😆

Gourd big or gourd home with your fall makeup 😏🍂🎃

These .us Artclass Nuage Lips (PR) are some of my absolute favorite matte lipsticks- both the shades and formulas. They can be super bold or soft and romantic. I adore them and bonus, they’re a good choice for under masks 👏

Are you wearing any lipsticks right now? It’s a little tricky with masks but I’ve tried wearing more as my collection is obscene and I need to use them 😂

Is carrot the new K-beauty go-to ingredient?! I’m seeing it pop up 👀🥕 sent me their NEW (and available for pre-order) Carrotene Blemish Clear Vita Pad in PR and I’ve been using them for a few weeks now.

First- I really enjoy toning pads these days. I didn’t used to, but now I find them so useful for gentle exfoliating and for quick and easy toning. They definitely hold a place in my routines.

These particular pads are formulated with carrot seed oil, for anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, and naturally-derived salicylic acid, for gentle exfoliation.

Naturally derived salicylic acid is extremely gentle so I usually just notice some softening of skin texture but nothing dramatic, and it’s been the same with these. I don’t rely on this as a main form of exfoliation, but instead incorporate Paula’s Choice BHA and The Ordinary Glycolic Acid a few times a week.

What I’ve LOVED has been how incredibly soothing these are for my redness and irritation. My skin gets very hot and red all the time, and using these really help calm and soothe. I can’t stop reaching for them both morning and night and I’ve also been sitting with a couple on my cheeks as a mini mask.

These pads have been a pleasant surprise for me, along with the Real Carrot Serum that I’ve also snapped a pic of if you swipe. Both have been lovely for soothing my skin! My routines are largely focused on hydration and soothing and these fit in very well 😍

I also have the cream and cleanser to try. Let me know if you’ve tried those!

Would you try this carrot line? @ Richmond, Virginia

I shared a reel yesterday on this little late summer/early fall makeup! Check it out on the Reels tab of my account 🥰 So easy, used Rosette Ray palette that they sent in PR. I think it’s such a wearable, easy-to-use palette and I’m impressed 👏

✨NEW PRODUCT REVIEWS✨I’ve been using these new products for a few weeks now and have thoughts! They were sent in PR and not specific to my hair type.

Background on my hair- I have hardly any 😅 it’s very thin, curly and red. I wash it once every 2-4 days and switch between anti-dandruff and sulfate-free shampoos. I don’t spend a lot on products and usually just buy from the drugstore, with the exception of my Living Proof styler.

NEW First Class Detoxifying Charcoal Shampoo- the purpose is to deep clean and remove all impurities, build-up and residue while witch hazel and tea tree oil soothe the scalp. It’s also sulfate free! I’m personally finding that it’s working VERY well for deep cleaning 👏 My scalp feels lighter and fully cleansed, and this has noticeably helped with volume at my roots. I really love that! However my actual hair definitely feels drier after use, and I need to heavily condition to combat it. It’s supposed to be used once a week and I’ll continue using it once every 1-2 weeks. $27 is way more than I usually spend on a regular shampoo, but I do think I’d purchase this because the deep cleaning is so effective and using it so infrequently means it will last a decent amount of time!

NEW First Class Weightless Replenishing Conditioner- purpose is to replenish hair without weighing down. I love the scent and the conditioner is nice enough. It does condition well and doesn’t weigh down my hair, BUT it didn’t “wow” me or make me think I really need to spend $27 on it...it’s just a regular, nice conditioner IMO 🤷‍♀️

They also sent me their dry shampoo but I don’t really feel like I’m the right candidate to review. Dry shampoo can never revive curly hair- curls need water and moisture. If I tie my hair up it does help stop the tied part looking greasy, but even then it needs rubbed in to avoid the white powdery look, and rubbing curly texture is a 🙅‍♀️. I usually have one on hand, but it’s not a must have.

Do you have any favorite IGK products?! If there are any curly hair recs from IGK I’d be really interested to hear! @ Richmond, Virginia

sent me their most recent serum releases last month and I was so excited to try and test!

I decided to start with the Vitamin C as it’s the least stable of the 3. I never test more than 1 active at one time so the other two will have to wait, even though it’s the Retinol I’m actually most curious about.

Info on the Vitamin C:
🔻Formulated with 23% pure Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) and 57.5% Propolis Extract.
🔻Officially pH 3.5-4 (my pH strips showed 3-3.5)
🔻Must be used within 2 months of opening.
🔻For brightening & moisturizing.

My first impressions are very positive overall. There’s no nasty coin metallic scent that I have experienced with many Vitamin C products and is a pet peeve of mine. The texture is smooth and lightweight with moisturizing benefits- I definitely get a little glow from it. There is a very slight stickiness but it disappears as you apply your skincare over the top.
I have not experienced any tingling, but I imagine many users will. I personally appreciate that the pH is low and it’s a high % Ascorbic Acid for maximum results👏

It is oxidizing quite quickly- it’s already yellow, as you can see on the second photo, after 10 days of opening. I didn’t have it in the fridge for the first week but it’s there now, although it was in a cool, dark area of our bedroom. Hopefully I get through it before it’s super orange! This is typical of Ascorbic Acid and annoying, but par for the course. Hence the small bottles!

It’s currently available for $24.95 on cosrx.com. I’m going to report back on results after a month. I had a bad breakout and was left with some PIH right before I started this so that’s been quite useful for seeing how this performs!

Are you going to try this?

Last night’s skincare routine 💁‍♀️
PR gifted.

▪️Pixi Hydrating Milky Makeup Remover- love this dual phase remover, it removes tough mascara well!
▪️Purito From Green Cleansing Oil- not a huge fan. It’s too thick for my liking and a little difficult to rinse off.
▪️107 Low pH Chaga Cleanser- a gorgeous gel that is honestly one of the best gentle cleansers I’ve tried.
▪️Celimax Heartleaf BHA Peeling Pads- onto my second tub of these and I’ll continually repurchase. They’re great for light manual exfoliation and sebum control.
▪️Cosrx Cica Toner- review coming on my blog soon! It’s a very light, hydrating toner.
▪️Shangpree Marine Hydrogel Mist- one of my fave Shangpree products. It moisturizes my skin so well.
▪️Beauty of Joseon Centella Asiatica Calming Mask- absolutely adore these masks for calming. The fit is not great around the mouth but is very adhesive and can be adjusted.
▪️Cosrx Cica Cream- a light soothing cream that I’ll be reviewing on my blog ASAP!
▪️Beigic Regenerating Oil- I really enjoy a couple of drops of this for intensive nourishment overnight. My skin always looks healthier the following am.

Any thoughts or q’s on any of these?!

Bev, the sweetheart founder of , sent me a PR sample of the brand’s new and first ever product, the Green Rooibos Pressed Serum and after about 6 weeks of use, I’m ready to share thoughts.

Official description: “Hero-ing pharmaceutical grade Green Rooibos as an antioxidant powerhouse and an extensive line up of multi-tasking ingredients inspired by Korean Beauty, including Centella asiatica, Sea-buckthorn and Liquorice, this antioxidant serum is formulated to protect and repair your skin from environmental damage and promote healthy skin.”
The ingredients list was super exciting to me with those mentioned above plus h**p seed oil, hyaluronic acid, and various other oils. You can see the full list on the website. I love incorporating antioxidant products in my routines that also hydrate or moisturize, particularly in the morning, and this seems like a solid option.

The texture is quite unique- a thin type creamy lotion with a subtle tea scent that I love! I use 1-1.5 pumps and press into my skin after toner/essence. It takes about 1 minute to absorb and my skin feels instantly softer and soothed. It’s not heavy at all and I feel like it would work for all skin types. I’m a big fan of low-maintenance products these days and this is as easy as it gets.

In terms of results, I’ve noticed that my skin is retaining moisture well throughout the day and skin feels softer after application. However my main purpose of using the product is for anti-aging benefits, so I’m in it for the long game! I do really enjoy the way my skin feels when I use the serum and the soothing benefits are a big plus for my sensitive skin- I’ll be maintaining it in my routines for sure 😌

Does this sound like a product you’d like?

but make it not a Tuesday? Very excited to review my 2 recent purchases!

Starting with the P**f 100% Mineral Part Powder SPF 45, that I bought to protect my scalp. I don’t like wearing hats and also have thin hair, so I felt like I really need some protection this summer.
I think the concept is awesome and I find the pump dispenser makes it easy to target the specific areas I want to place the powder. My only issue is I then find it hard to rub into my scalp- it’s quite a thick powder and I find it leaves a thick layer on my skin. It hasn’t irritated my scalp, but that’s something to be aware of if you have a super sensitive scalp (I do, but haven’t had issues!). Of course I do have to wash my hair after every use which I didn’t really think about when I ordered it. It’s quite a chore if I want to use this daily! So ultimately, it’s a good option when I’m going to be out in the sun, but I’m better just avoiding direct sun rather than using this every single day. I like having it in my stash, but it hasn’t become a staple.

My other purchase was the Bright Eye 100% Mineral Eye Cream SPF 40 PA+++. I bought this because suncream absolutely kills my eyes 🥴 whenever I get within about 1/2 inch of my eye area with regular sun cream, it is guaranteed to run into my eyes and sting if I’m outdoors. I hoped this would resolve that issue AND IT HAS 🙌I cannot believe how this cream stays in place no matter what I’m doing, and I can comfortably wear it right up to my eyes and on my lids and brow bone. A total game changer! One thing you have to be careful of is not layer it too thick - I had a pilling issue the first time I tried it, but have not since. I really like that it also has a subtle brightening effect too. Overall this is an awesome summer option for me and probably all year around!

Have you tried either of these or any other Supergoop suggestions? It’s a premium brand but I don’t mind paying for good SPF options. @ Richmond, Virginia

Sensitivity savers! I get a lot of heat, redness, and general sensitivity in my skin and these are some of the toners and serums in my current stash that help a lot. My skin is also very dehydration-prone and I learned years ago at Shangpree Spa that a lot of the dehydration probably stems from the heat and redness I experience, so I need to make sure I’m replenishing my skin. I go for very gentle, (mostly) unfragranced, soothing layers that help hydrate and calm when my skin is in this sensitized state.
PR gifted products included here.
Any thoughts or questions about any of these products? What do you reach for when skin feels sensitive?

Feel like I need to start a series of photos of me eating Korean food around Korea, I seem to have so many 🤷‍♀️ I’ve been doing lots of reminiscing on my years living in ROK recently, and stumbled across this photo from a wonderful few days I had staying in the Jeonju hanok village in 2015 when my friend from home visited. 💛 Jeonju is the Korean capital for food and we ate WELL 😂
I think this was my second time in the city and I went back again later. My tip would be to avoid holidays in Jeonju because it’s manic. And just eat alllll the food - Jeonju bibimbap, the street food, PNB Choco Pie, makgeolli...do it all ✌️

If you want to see my nose pores up close, this is the video for you! Or if you want to see how I use my new G Train On the Run Palette too 😌
Excuse the quarantine hair.

I bought this palette for 50% during a Sephora sale, making it just $12.50. An absolute STEAL. I’ve played around with it several times and I have thoughts:
🖤 The shades are all extremely blendable apart from a tiny bit of patchiness with the matte green (G Train) and matte deep red (Tunnel).
🖤The shimmers are so bold and beautiful, with an incredible buttery feel to them.
🖤 There’s quite a lot of fallout, if that bothers you. It doesn’t bother me.
🖤 Although the shimmers are incredibly bold on first application, I will say that over time they kind of blend into one and become more subtle. Still gorgeous, just not quite as *pop* as they initially seem.
🖤 You can create a really cool variety of looks with this, from subtle daytime to intense glam, and the colors are fun to mix and match.
🖤 100% would recommend!
Have you got a favorite Urban Decay product?

I spent ages last weekend doing this matte gradient eye look, because why not 🤷‍♀️ and I’m really happy with how it turned out! What do you think?

I used The Nubian palette for all of the eyeshadow, then the MacQueen Jewel-Poten Eye Glitter in Kitten Diamond , gifted by , for lining the crease and highlighting the inner corner.
I also used the MacQueen Waterproof Pen Eyeliner which I LOVE, gifted by . So easy to use, long lasting, and intense black ink.
The lipstick is one I picked up from Primark last summer and I love it 😅 Lustre Lipstick in Skin on Skin, probs cost about £2.

If you’re shopping on Stylevana and interested, I do have an affiliate code: INF10SEOUL valid for 2 more days, 10% off your order 😊 I did my own order (not gifted) on there a few weeks ago and the order arrived within 1 week, which I thought was really good.
