Free to Be Heard A Little Info About Me

Hi! My name is Jennifer Rosenberg. I'm a from Florida, the sunshine state. I don't think they are listening.
I was born in New York, but I've lived in Florida so long I'm sure I'm Floridian! I'm a stay at home mom of two great kids and happily married to my soul mate, Jody. Overall, I am just an average, everyday person like most of you. People don't run out and protest like they used to in the 60's. If you had an issue with government back then you made tee shirts and signs, gathered up your friends an
d went out and made some noise and got yourself heard. I never imagined I would ever be a blogger but in this day and age of social media, and people putting their every thought and move on Twitter and Facebook, I figured why not try putting this all to good use. If you want to be heard these days... just put it out there and maybe someone might pay attention. I heard a story on the news the other day about someone who was in desperate need of a kidney. He had been on the organ transplant list for a while and nothing was coming his way. So, he put it out there on Facebook and sure enough, an old friend offered to see if she was a match. She was and sure enough she probably saved that man's life. We now have access to more of our friends and acquaintances than ever before so you don't even have to live in the same neighborhood or even state to get everyone together to listen to help you anymore. Just post a status update and people respond instantly. My goal with this blog is to try and be heard by our government who seems to have forgotten what they are supposed to be doing there in Washington. We the people are out here, working hard to keep it together, but they are sabotaging us at every turn. I don't think realize they are running us into the ground all the while saying we are fighting for you! I just want them to know that we see what they are doing and we aren't willing to sit back and take it anymore. What better way to build up numbers and reach these people than through the internet. It doesn't cost us money. Aren't we the ones they were talking about in the US Constitution when it says "We the people"? It only cost a little bit of time and effort. Isn't our country and our future worth it?
