UHO AND UPLB GC HOST UPLB'S FLAG CEREMONY. The UPLB Housing Office and UPLB Gender Center, led by Dr. Benevieve D. Villanueva and Prof. Nelson Jose Vincent B. Querijero, respectively, hosted the University's flag raising ceremony this morning, 12 September 2022.
The program was also joined by the UPLB Men Opposed to Violence Against Women Everywhere, and was graced by Chancellor Jose V. Camacho, Jr., Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs Roberto P. Cereno, Vice Chancellor for Planning and Development Fernando O Paras, Jr., and Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Administration Jennifer Marie S. Amparo.
In an effort to make UPLB a more inclusive and safe space. The UPLB Gender Center during the pride month drafted and requested the UPLB Chancellor to release a memo affirming TGNC names, pronouns and titles.

Ito ay pinangunahan ng Break the Cycle at Bikers United Movement (BUM), mga grupo ng mga indibidwal na naglalayong isulong ang pagbibisikleta bilang paraan ng transportasyon sa bansa. Spearheaded by Break The Cycle Philippines, Ride with Pride is a group of cycling advocates promoting biking as a form of active mobility in the Philippines especially among the LGBTQIA+. The group highlights the intersection of biking and LGBTQIA+ advocacies in terms of inclusion, freedom of expression, and commuter justice.
