Self-proclaimed “The Happiest Nanny in San Francisco,” Michiko brings over 15 years of experience as a nanny to the Travel Nanny team. She knows first-hand that young children deserve the highest standard of care whether they are at home or exploring the world. A great nanny can be the difference in making family memories of a lifetime.

Being the oldest of four siblings and having lived in three different countries through her formative years, Michiko took on the caregiving role early in life, while also appreciating what it means to be a global citizen. Though she worked in finance for 14 years, Michiko always knew that caring for children was her true calling, and has never looked back. Her nannying philosophy is grounded in learning through play, excellent communication with the clients, and when families request it, to offer care in Japanese or bilingually. Michiko is excited to be part of ushering in the next generation of well-traveled global citizens!

When not serving as the Managing Attorney for Nova Law Group PC, Investor, or Board Member to Non-Profit Organizations, Nick proudly wears the hat of Dad to two wonderful and energetic boys under 3 years old. In 2023, Nick, his wife, and his children flew to 7 destinations across 5 countries, all while hiring their San Francisco-based nanny to travel with them. This US domestic nanny costs up to $10,000 per month of travel inclusive of flights, nanny lodging, increased “away from home” hourly rates, and other traveling expenses. She has a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management, a Bachelor of Education Majoring in Home Economics, a Master's in Business Management, and a PhD in Business Management. She is passionate about providing emotional support to children and cannot wait to meet your family in Japan!

Leah has over three years of experience as a professional childcare provider. She has been a babysitter, private nanny, camp counselor, and even a private live-in nanny. She has experience with children ages 17 months to 15 years, and has had anywhere from 1 to 10 children in her care at a time. She has plenty of experience watching and caring for inexperienced swimmers and even transporting 3+ children at a time!

Originally from Tennessee, Leah has been living on the beautiful island of Oahu for over 2 years now and is one of our Founder's favorite Travel Nannies!

After 2 successful entrepreneurial ventures, Beverly was enjoying her time off by traveling the world to find inspiration and her next big idea. By the time her son was 18 months old, they had already traveled to 6 countries together. Fortunately for her young family, they’ve always had an extra set of hands to help with their international trips, except for the one. She resorted to hiring a local nanny, which was the best travel “hack” ever. Beverly realized how invaluable this service could be for traveling families. This experience not only led to the founding of The Travel Nanny but also allowed her to empower other women by helping them become entrepreneurs in the childcare industry.

Beyond her role as a mother, Beverly brings over 20 years of experience in the travel and tourism sector. She is a former respite caregiver, an Airbnb superhost, a Turo superhost, and a distinguished community service leader. These experiences have given her a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, further enhancing her capability to innovate within it.

Rose has 10 years of extensive experience as a nanny for children ranging from toddlers to 10 years old. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Secretarial Science.

Rose has childcare skills such as bathing, feeding and diaper and clothes changing. She is passionate about ensuring the safety of children and cannot wait to meet your family in Taiwan!

Hsuan has five years of teaching experience and currently works as a talent tutor and ballet dance teacher at a bilingual kindergarten. She speaks English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese.

Hsuan also has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Management and has studied courses related to childcare. She is passionate about making sure that children are safe and well cared for!
