💛 The entire SACS team would like to thank our volunteers and donors for all of their time, effort, good will and generosity. Our Packing Day was a huge success thanks to all of YOU.

In return for your efforts, you will put a smile on the face of 1,680 students returning to school all around Argentina. 🎒

Meet Fernando Vilte Ruiz, one of our SACS Juhi Scholarship recipients.

Fernando is a talented 23 year old from Salta Province, in the north of Argentina. He moved to Mendoza, a larger city, in order to study the flute at the University of Cuyo in their fantastic music program.

Fernando has a loving family who support him in everything he does. His mother is a domestic worker, and his father works on a farm, while his brother is also studying at university.

Due to his dedication, his excellent grades, his commitment to music and to a better life for himself, he has been awarded the SACS Juhi Scholarship.

This scholarship will provide Fernando with a monthly stipend to help him in his studies and expenses.

If you would like to give the gift of a college education to a student in need, please consider signing up for a monthly contribution to SACS. All amounts are accepted, but we suggest $25 per month. That small amount will truly make a difference in the life of a young student. (Link in bio to donate, or write us a message here for more information).

🎓 SACS, in gratitude and celebration of the life of one of our founders, Juhi Manwani, has set up a Scholarship Fund for students in need.

🎓 The objective is to provide an economic incentive for young people from low-income households to aspire to secondary, tertiary and university studies, thus achieving prosperity by improving their future and that of society as a whole.

🎓 Three candidates have been selected for the 2022 school year and we are delighted to tell you about them! Stay tuned!

🎓 SACS, en agradecimiento y celebración de la vida de Juhi Manwani, uno de nuestros fundadores, ha establecido un Fondo de Becas para estudiantes necesitados.

🎓 El objetivo es incentivar económicamente a jóvenes de hogares de bajos recursos para que aspiren a estudios secundarios, terciarios y universitarios, logrando la prosperidad y mejorando su futuro.

🎓 ¡Se han seleccionado tres candidatos para el año escolar 2022 y estamos encantados de contarles sobre ellos!

🏆 Help Argentina, a nonprofit organization that promotes social investment in Argentina, chose Stephanie Bruchou, the President of SACS, for the *Social Leadership Award of 2022*. They honored SACS at a special ceremony in May of this year, pointing out her outstanding leadership of an organization that grows year after year and provides educational materials for children in need.

In the province of Corrientes, in northern Argentina, there are many public schools filled with smart and adorable children. Unfortunately many of these schools are under funded and lack basic school supplies. SACS is proud to step up and help out!

At Escuela #867, in Perugorria, we were able to contribute 25 backpacks and school supplies this year to children in kindergarten and primary school.

En la Provincia de Corrientes, en el norte argentino, hay muchas escuelas publicas llenas de niños divinos e inteligentes. Lamentablemente muchos de esos colegios faltan los fondos necesarios para comprar útiles escolares para las aulas. SACS está orgulloso contribuir a esas escuelas!

En la Escuela #867, en Perugorría, pudimos contribuir 25 mochilas con útiles escolares este año, a niños en jardín y primaria.

🌟 🌟 SACS is proud to have donated 20 backpacks filled with school supplies to the kids at Capilla Sagrada Corazon. Their study center in Jose Leon Suarez neighborhood provides students a safe place to study after school and a snack each afternoon. It's a wonderful place for kids!

🍷 SACS is excited to partner with for a fundraising event on Wed. May 11th. But we're SOLD OUT!

Winehaus an environmentally friendly wine bar that offers 14 excellent wines on tap from the province of Salta. The wine goes directly from the barrel to your glass, saving 66 glass bottles, 20 kilos of gas and 2,000 liters of water. And the barrels can be re-used 100 times!

Although we are sold out, please consider making a donation to SACS anyway. We always welcome new members, donations or smiling faces!

Winehaus es una vinoteca enfocada en ayudar al medio ambiente. Ofrece 14 excelentes vinos de barril de la provincia de Salta. El vino va directo de la barrica a tu copa, ahorrando 66 botellas de cristal, 20 kilos de gas y 2.000 litros de agua. ¡Y los barriles se pueden reutilizar 100 veces!

Aunque no hay mas entradas, ¡se puede hacer donaciones igual!

This is Puerta del Cielo orphanage in Boulogne, Buenos Aires, where 24 kids live right now. Although there are kids of all different ages living here (from kindergarten through secondary school), the one thing they all have in common is the need for school supplies! We were delighted to be able to contribute towards their education in 2022. 🤗

Luego de comenzar las clases con mochilas y útiles nuevos de SACS, los chicos de la Asociación Comunitaria Juan Diego se tomaron un recreo. Pasaron todo un día en Temaikén, merendaron budines que les acercan todos los viernes .arg, y llevaron la bandera como embajadores de paz de la organización Mil Mileños de Paz.

After starting classes with their new backpacks and school supplies donated by SACS, the students from the Juan Diego Community Association took a field trip. They spent the whole day at the Temaikén nature center, where they had snacks provided by .arg. They were also peace ambassadors for the organization of "Mil Mileños de Paz" and carried their flag too.

The Juan Diego Community Association in Troncos del Talar (in the Province of Buenos Aires) received a donation of 21 backpacks with school supplies for kids in kindergarten, primary and secondary.

⭐️ We love helping kids of all ages to pursue their education! ⭐️

The delivery of backpacks and school supplies to Cruz del Sur foundation was a highly anticipated event for these two communities (Virrey del Pino and Gonzalez Catán in La Matanza).

As you can see from the photos, they were delighted with their backpacks!

SACS is grateful to be the bridge between this foundation and the kids in the area.
