We're dedicated to breaking the stereotype that todays news is boring and dry. Connor came up with the idea for the podcast and the two carried it from there.
We want to bring our listeners fresh and different angles on todays current events, politics, sports and everything in between! Will Hyndman and Connor Ducharme are just a couple of handsome, well-read, witty and did I mention handsome young men trying to make a difference in an era of fake news and small hands. These two met because of their passion for hockey, and their friendship developed from
there. Through trial and hardships (a tragic shootout loss in house league consolation finals) their friendship has prevailed. Coming from different backgrounds, and with an inherent ability to navigate Google, Will and Connor are more than qualified to bring different, educated perspectives to everyday news. The goal is to promote critical thinking and to get people to understand what it's like to stand in someone else's shoes. Topics of interest include world news, Canadian politics, sports (obviously) and other random stuff they think you ought to know about. If they've done their job, after each episode, you'll be all the wiser and be able to see everyday life through a more holistic lens.
