The 23/24 basketball season has come to an end. Our 8th grade travel team got together this weekend in Wisconsin Dells for one last tournament as BBBL players 💙🏀. The majority of these boys have played with BBBL since 3rd grade and have had huge success on the court! We wish them luck in the future!

💙Burlington Boys Basketball League is proud to announce the TJ Sportsman Memorial Scholarship. This $1000 Scholarship will be offered each year to one current Central High School student who has played at least 2 years in the Burlington Boys Basketball League. 2024 Scholarship Applications are now posted on our website https://www.burlingtonboysbasketball.com

Completed application, including current CHS transcript, must be turned in at the CHS Athletic Office, no later than April 25, 2024. No late applications will be considered.

With this week being Coach Ray's last week of training, we wanted to express our gratitude to him. Coach Ray dedicated one session weekly to work with every travel team throughout the season. Additionally, he attended several games to cheer us on. His training regimen focused not only on honing basketball fundamentals but also on integrating concepts relevant to the high school level. Ray's coaching resonated positively with the boys, and Coach Ryan can attest that the 5th-grade team showed significant improvement this year as a result.💙 Thank you Coach Ray!

Age Groups and Times:
• 5th/6th Grade: 1:00 - 2:00pm
• 7th Grade: 2:00 - 3:00pm
• 8th Grade: 3:00 - 4:00pm
• 9th Grade: 4:00 - 5:00pm
• 10th/11th Grade: 5:00 - 6:00pm
We kindly request that you arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to your child’s age group’s designated tryout time to ensure a prompt and efficient start.
Where: Harvest Bible Chapel (The Mitchell Swaback Center)

*If entering from Randall Road, please follow the signs to the back of the property where the Mitchell Swaback Center is located.
Please note that tryouts are closed, and only players and Bardo Basketball evaluators will be permitted into the gym. While attendance at both tryout dates is not mandatory, it is required for players to attend at least one tryout session. We highly encourage players to participate in both tryouts to receive a comprehensive evaluation.

Results of the tryouts will be communicated via email and posted on www.bardobasketball.com no later than March 13th.

Spring Season Fees: Player Fee: $789.00 + Additional Uniform Fee
Jersey Payment DUE MARCH 17th (Uniform orders must be placed by March 17th to avoid delays.)

Spring Season Includes:
8-9 Tournaments
Practices: Tuesdays & Thursdays (Starting March 26th)
Friday, April 5th - “The Black & Yellow Game” an Illinois Elgin Elite Program Event

Additionally, all Elgin Elite players are encouraged (though not mandatory) to participate in Bardo Basketball Training sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays. We aim to provide our players with ample opportunities to enhance their skills beyond team practices.
