Yesterday was a terrific day to spend studying the geology around Foothills Parkway in East Tennessee. TEST provided PD hours for inservice teachers - and everyone had an enjoyable time doing it! There was no sitting around at this workshop! We were ably led by Dr. Pete Lemiszki. Thanks, Pete, for another well-planned day in the field. We appreciate the many hours you must have spent doing all the prep and your graciousness with our many questions!! Thanks too the teachers who spent their Saturday with us (some traveling a fair bit), and to
Dr. Don Byerly, our founder and faithful friend.
Watch for our flyers on this page (and on your system's science department page ) telling of future workshops, field trips, etc. These are usually provided at no cost to teachers who either are TEST members, or who pay the $15 annual membership fee when they apply to take part in an activity.
