Yep... the bad luck continued at the golden hammer.
Car was pretty good in warm ups. Only made slight adjustments for time trials. Kait was 28th out and till her turn it slicked off and got dusty so she didn't time well (34 of 44). That put us in a C main where we really tightened the car. Starting p6 the car looked pretty good. Unfortunately a certain driver was outdriving his abilities as he tends to do and caused a wreck right in front of Kait being one spot out of a transfer (took top 4). She managed to get the car slowed alot but caught the front right tire and got a flat. So what looked like she might transfer to packing up. Seems to be the golden hammer way for us. Oh well, on to the next race.

Well, positives and negatives. Tried a few things tonight searching for better grip in the feature and it appeared I'm on the right track. But as she closed in on 5th and 6th I believe she had to check up to avoid contact and ended up spinning. She did work her way back up for a 10th place finish but definitely worked for it avoiding several tangles and even getting caught up in one. Finished with a tweaked front axle and a flat left rear.

Wasn't our best night but we tried. Just couldn't seem to get the car dialed in for Kait tonight. She said it was too loose in the heat and feature but brought it home in p11.

I am very pleased with Kait's progress from last year. She is showing much more confidence and control and has found speed. She makes a mistake towards the end and you can see her catching back up until the checkered flag.
