I Woke Up Today without your smiling face and unbreakable presence My Father smh My father!!!!!When I say Im built from a different cloth this is exactly where the materials came from. My Father was a very disciplined man and he absolutely did not play with us we knew the consequences before hand yep Uncle Ronny was not to be played with at all. My Father was sick a very long time and you couldn't even tell because whenever you saw him he was dressed from head to toe and mighty slick when it came to dressing , He was a Big man strong and solid and babyyyy would STEP you right back to your seat yep that was my Daddy. He was an di·al·y·sis patient for 30!!!!!!!!!years with a transplant. I never saw him break nor fold he took every moment in stride I never had a moment nor minute that he was not apart of my life so im very unfamiliar with a father not being there because MINES never missed a beat. Im his baby girl and he was my DADDY !!!!!!!! I remember when I first told him I was pregnant with my daughter the love and excitement he showed let me the scared 20yr old tough lil cookie would be just fine and I have been every since. I told him I wanted to be a Nurse the man told me to take some personality classes cause I was too mean well I didnt take the personality classes but I did begin to smile more and I was so happy he told me ok that is progress one thing for sho my dad did not sugar coat anything with me if I was wrong he told me and if I was right he told me there was no in between with Ronny Powell and im Thankful. Even In his sickest moments He was an amazing Grandfather , God daddy, Brother , Cousin and friend to everyone that encountered him. He never showed fear he said it is what it is and its gone be what its gone be. Man this right is hard but God gave me strength I gave my father his last and final bath and I dressed him for the family to say their final goodbyes and when the funeral home came to pick him up I PUT MY FATHER IN THE BODY BAG AND CLOSED THE ZIPPER!!!!!!! and watched them wheel my daddy down to a vehicle and drive off Thats the vision that will forever play in my head I LOVE YOU DADDY!!!!
