EP 175: West Virginia Turkey Camp Recap is live!! We caught up with a bunch of guys from camp to recap our weekend Patreon hunt!

PA youth opener didn’t end the way we intended after a swing and a miss on a beautiful bird. But, we had an absolute blast making memories and hiding under our Nebo rain shelter 😂😂

West Virginia is truly wild and wonderful 🦃
On a 40° turkey morning with over 3/4 mile to cover, without tons of briar and rough terrain, you have to have a layering system you trust! We preach about and how their layering system builds comfort and confidence in a hunt. Today the ticket was a heavy dose of Kaibab base layer and the Ptarmigan vest to keep the core warm!
“the Red Ghost” was as sweet as ever today to get out those soft tree yelps and land this bird within 30 yards off the roost

Opening day in Virginia with .marcello.82 was more than any turkey hunter could ever ask for. “I wish I could breathe life back into him, so I could hunt him again tomorrow”
