Big week for the cross country team with 3 meets close by. Tuesday we run at Moville Golf course. Girls at 4:30 and boys at 5.
Wednesday our middle school runs at the Sergeant bluff complex...our first home meet in years! Girls run at 4 while boys run at 4:30.
Thursday is the high school city meet held at West High. Varsity boys 4:30, varsity girls 5, JV boys 5:30, JV girls 6.

Our 7th grade girls took first place tonight against all the Sioux City schools! Linkynn Garret took first place, Riley McHugh-Hoskins took 3rd, Natasha Freiberg 12th, Kylie Kerr 13th. 8th grade girls were led by Alexia Linn and Emersyn Simms. Boys were led by Grant Widdison, Aidan Lambertsen, and Austin Healy. All the runners competed great!

Congratulations to Cody Morgan for signing a Letter of Intent to run cross country at Southwestern Community College. We look forward to cheering you on as a Spartan next fall!
If you haven't heard, Miles placed 72nd out of 122 with a new personal record of 17:44. Great freshmen year. Thanks to everyone who came to support and cheered from home!

What an exciting day. The Lady Warriors went from placing 13th last year in districts to placing 7th this year. The boys went from placing 13th last year to placing 10th this year. We also had our first state qualifier since 2011...Miles Scott, who placed 10th overall as a freshman. Awesome job!!
