All rats can be entered into NFRS and NERS Varieties and Pets. Rats entered in Varieties and/or Pets must be tanked.

We are seeking submissions for Pro Rat a content!

We want to see more rats and share member experiences! We are currently seeking submissions for the following:

Cover photos - do you want to see your rat(s) on the mag cover? Please submit them! You must own the images and they must be free from watermarks and ideally portrait. This is the quickest and easiest submission to make.
Variety Spotlight - any variety EXCEPT Champagne and Quicksilver.
Show Your Set Up - pictures of your cage with a brief comment about your must have item(s).
Star Rat - a few pictures of your rat and why they're a star.
Health Corner - talk about a health issue you might want to highlight to others including your experience with it. Any pictures, especially x-rays or scans welcome.
Book reviews - from any rat themed book you've read.
Owner and Breeder Experience articles - any article you want to write about your experience with any aspect of owner or breeder ownership.
Photos - any photo collections such as and NFRS show, variety comparisons etc.
