I design and handmake children's applique t-shirts, babygrows and vests, and children's reversible sunhats and lined drawstring PE bags.
Jungle Bunny Designs was born at the beginning of 2013, after the birth of my third son. I dearly wanted the children to have t-shirts saying "Big brother", "Little brother" and "Baby brother" on, but couldn't find any...so I designed and made them some instead. And hey presto, Jungle Bunny Designs was born. I now have a portfolio of the many designs that I have designed and made. They are made wi
th fabric and then sewn onto a garment or item. Sequins, ribbons and button can also be added. The aim is to make them bright and colourful, and something that a child would love to wear. I'm very proud of my children's sunhats, and I am pleased to say that not only do children love to wear them, but they are also very tough and can be washed with all of your normal washing. I have recently started to make children's lined drawstring PE bags, and again the aim is bright and colourful, and something that a child will happily carry. Interestingly the first one I sold, was to my mum, who wanted a bag to take to the beach instead of her handbag...so not just for children!
