So excited to have my students in here on Monday! Has been a long process waiting for our new furniture but it’s finally here! New Lino and fancy tables with stand alone smaller tables on wheels which will double as easels. Observation drawing lessons are going to be so fun!

Sometimes the best artists are teachers, and that’s certainly the case with (also known as the very talented Frew Halbert).

Frew loves nothing more than teaching new styles and mediums to her students. She’s constantly exploring new colour schemes and patterns inspired by her surroundings and travels to Indonesia.

Her piece, ‘Airlie’, features a mixture of lemon and creams, through light browns and pinks, creating a layered, patterned and timeless artwork you’ll fall more and more in love with every time you lay your eyes on it.

Week 1 back at work after 3 weeks in Bali was Buuuuusy! I’m still to pick up a paintbrush but hoping to be back at the easel this weekend with a break in local sport.
