there sure are a lot posts about Christmas in the last few days and everybody should be free to state their objections or their love of the holiday. What I don't ever see is any anti Jewish, anti Muslim, anti Buddhist, or really any anti anything except Christian beliefs. I am only making an observation.
Love to all believers, nonbelievers, or anyone in between.
The leader of The Loomis Gang was Wash Loomis. His ghost was last seen in Tinker Hollow in approximately 1953 by his descendants who lived in this house; known as the Collins House. His ghost walked across their lawn and up the hill onto what was formerly Loomis property. I included a couple of pages from George Walter's book The Loomis Gang describing his ghost being seen.
this is the original deed for the Loomis land in Windsor Connecticut Colony 1763. A 259 year old document - perhaps the oldest document on the Loomis' who later came to North Brookfield.
a new arrival today in very good condition
