Over the years I have always been complimented on my eyebrows and I constantly get asked how I get them to look the way they do. So what’s the secret to the perfect brows?
1. DO NOT OVER PLUCK!!!
Over plucking and over waxing are one of the main reasons people ruin their brows. Stay within the bounds of your natural brow shape and simple maintain them from there. The best strategy to avoid over plucking, is to pluck a couple hairs close up to the mirror and then take a couple steps back and check the symmetry. Brow hairs can look out of place close up, but one extra pluck could throw off your whole brow symmetry.
2. DAILY MAINTENANCE
My brows grow like weeds so in order to keep them in line, I pluck them every single day. Don’t forget to always check the ends of your brows for the easy to miss hairs that can get out of hand if forgotten for too long.
3. PRODUCT
Brow pencils and brow pomades can be hard to use if you are just starting out. I highly suggest watching a tutorial on YouTube or practicing a couple times to avoid the look of overdrawn brows. My go to products are the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow definer (i use shade taupe) and the NYX micro brow pencil (i use shade ash blonde). If you do not want to splurge for the ABH brow products NYX or Morphe have great alternatives!

MYTH: High end products are better than drugstore products. One of my favorite beauty influencers, Glam Life Guru, has some great videos covering one of my favorite topics, high end make up dupes! Dupes are a great way to spare your bank account from the pretty penny it costs for these high end products. You can find makeup in the drugstore that work just as well, if not better, than some of the high end makeup you see at Sephora.
