What a great 10 days of challenging yourself to take those small changes to a healthier you! So proud of everyone for all that you accomplished!
Day 9 - Almost to the finish line now!
Today is all about controlling late night eating. I am really bad at this because we tend to eat dinner really early in our house. My goal is to stop eating at least 2 hours before I go to bed.
Day 7 - Not to be missed! Eat more whole grains!
Day 8 - Only a few days left!
Today is all about balancing the amount of alcohol in your diet.
Did you know that alcohol
+ Disrupts your sleep
+ Dehydrates the body
+ Creates more toxins in your body + Increases weight
+ Makes your liver work overtime, slowing down the detoxification process
+ Makes you more “relaxed” in your decisions (making it difficult to stick to your healthy living plan)
What else can you have instead: Perhaps a hot tea or hot chocolate? Add in some fruit and/or juice to ice water? I like to drink a mixture of elderflower press and water with a little cocktail cherry! :)
Day 6 is all about managing sugar cravings! This one is quite difficult for me as I have a HUGE sweet tooth! Let me know how it goes and what you are doing to prevent grabbing that biscuit or candy bar!
We are halfway there, keep up the enthusiasm and goal setting each day!
Day 5 is all about keeping caffeine in balance. Are you drinking to much caffeine? How do you feel afterwards? What else can you do instead of reaching for that cup of coffee, soda or tea?
I am a huge fan of drinking an UPLIFT when you feel like you need that extra bit of energy or alertness without the sudden sugar rush or low afterward.

Hi Everyone! Hope you have enjoyed the last few challenges. Day 4 -Today is all about sleep...my favourite but also the hardest for me to achieve.
Professionals say we should be getting at least 7-9 hours of sleep each night. If you are like me, it is quite hard with kids, dogs, significant others rolling around etc. etc. the list goes on. BUT let's try together to implement new way to better sleep. For me I will be cutting the wine and instead having some nice herbal tea and getting to bed earlier. How about you?
Kickstart 10 - DAY 3! HYDRATION!
Day 3 is all about challenging ourselves to drink more water. If you are like me, I STRUGGLE with this daily.
FACT 1: A lot of the time when you “feel” hungry you are in fact “dehydrated” so drink up don't eat up... We are made up of 50-65% water.
FACT 2: When we stay hydrated, it helps our body to stay working properly!
- Muscles - Hormones
- Brain - Digestion
- Circulation -Nerves
I will be focusing on filling up my glass multiple times today and adding some mint leaves and cucumbers for that added taste!

KICKSTART 10 - DAY 2!
Today is all about moving more! 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
Find an activity you enjoy and do it for at least 15 minutes. Perhaps stretch yourself a little further and see if you can push yourself 5, 10 or even 15 minutes more!
Exercise does much more than you realise such as:
- Improve your mood
- Helps to lower cravings
- Helps to remove toxins
- Boosts your metabolism
- Keeps your brain and body young
This morning I pushed myself to do 15 extra minutes on the elliptical! Let's keep moving together!

Kickstart 10 - Day 1 of maximising whole foods!
I hope everyone has gotten on well today with either trying new or eating more whole foods in your diet today!
I Started the morning as always with 30 whole foods by eating my JuicePlus and having my post work-out perform shake. Then I had a nutritious lunch followed by my favourite salad loaded with colourful veggies and lean turkey breast for dinner....YUM!
LET'S GET EXCITED TO START DAY 1!
DAY 1 is all about eating an abundance of WHOLE FOODS! 🍎🥭🍌🥒🥦. Make sure to post about what whole foods you have added into your meals today!
I am starting with my daily routine of eating 30 whole foods through my JP capsules! Later today, I will also be adding more fruits and veggies to my meals!
A plant based diet (still including small amounts of animal products) is a good balance. Eating plant based give you a variety of protein, carbs, fats and beneficial vitamins and minerals you need each day!
