Just finished this up this weekend...$730 in supplies not bad for my first coop. I still have to add the vents and the automatic door should be here tomorrow. 4x8x8 hen house with an 8x8x8 run.

Edit: I would've loved to have been able to find a drawing but couldn't find exactly what I wanted, so I drew this up in autocad. If you like it, Give me a couple of days and I will post the drawing with dims and a materials list to the comments int this post. Lots of interest and I need help with the roosting/nesting and run toys setup...post some pics and help me out. Thanks for all of the love on this post.

The building is made of fibreglass and styrofoam insulation this will make for easy cleaning inside. The floor is covered with a special product to stop from slipping . There is three perches inside and five nesting boxes . The nesting boxes are sloped back so that the eggs roll behind a wall to be protected . There is a 12x24 window that opens up and has a 1"X1"screen covering it .

I feel so sad for Emilia to order for a coop to be build, and later on after spending on the coop to be build and that she decided not to get the coop again due to her I’ll health conditions and we are forced to put the coop up for discussion, to get the funds back to her It’s been over 4 months after it was build.

OK this is my chicken coop. I have a door that I use zip ties on. It works fine. Eventually I will frame it in wood and use a kennel dog door. It sits on concrete I tore down the old shed,  14 x 14 slab so my chicken coop is a 12 x 12 round. I used a 2 inch pipe bracket to secure it to the concrete with concrete screws so the wind doesn’t blow it off. I mounted them together with Kennel brackets. You can purchase doors. On the back of my chicken coop, I have used another trampoline for an arbor to start my grapes. Trampolines were free marketplace, Facebook. They only cost is brackets and wires. The door was given to me. I use half inch mesh, raccoons and possums do not like to climb welded mesh.

After many long hours I’m finally done with this chicken run. Chicken run built around the small shed that I picked up for free. Still some odds and ends to tie up..does anyone have any recommendations? Still not sure what I will use outside in the run on the ground.
