I'm an enthusiastic amateur wildlife photographer. Hope you will enjoy looking.

I want to share with you some of my photos taken mainly around Caithness, they will be mainly birds, but also flowers, insects, mammals and landscape/seascapes.

Waiting around hopefully for the Dolphins to turn up, they did but not showing well, when I was offered a photoshoot with this fine specimen. Cannot decide if a Carrion Crow or a Raven. Gave me a fine display, kept getting closer and closer to me so I had to take photos. Channory Point, Scotland.

A few photos of a Red Deer stag from a trip to the North West of Scotland. Only noticed him as a young man was already stopped and out of his car taking photo pics, blends so well into the environment. We stopped shortly then continued on. I had picked the stag up in my lens so just continued taking photos as we both moved alongside. First time taking shots from a moving vehicle, pleased they are actually in focus.

A lovely female Siskin, a recent visitor to the garden. I thought I'd messed these photos up, seemed really dark on the camera screen, loaded them onto my computer and with a bit of help from Lightroom, achieved this. Caithness Scotland

The bringing of a gift, part of the bonding ritual between the pair, he made her work for the sand eel, quite a few tussles as she tried to get it.
