It’s been awhile since I’ve wrote a more personal piece on the blog. Life have been pretty much a roller coaster ride since Covid happened. Was invited by Durian Prime SG to try out their durians. They got their durians direct from their own plantation in Malaysia daily. I can’t really enjoy durians at home so I opted for the option to try direct at their outlet at 24A 456 Geylang Road! They pack their durian fresh over at the outlet too! Just me having fun and enjoying myself at Harry Potter Studios in London.

Different from the Baker Street we have in Sg, 221B Baker Street in London is home to the greatest detective, Sherlock Holmes.
I intentionally picked the Baker Street pick up point for my HP Studios tour so I can do a quick visit to 221B Baker Street. It’s a small private museum that depicts the room of Sherlock. Though I did read reviews online that it’s not really worth paying to go into and hence only a photo on the outside.

Slowing counting down to my trip out of SG in Oct. My first trip in 3 years.

Truth be told, I’ve suffered multiple down times during this period since the pandemic. It’s literally a roller coaster ride. One moment you’re up and the next moment you’re down.

I felt like I never got a chance to properly take a break and recharge.

Being able to travel out of the country is a privilege that I treasure. It’s a form of escape to me. To leave everything back at home to be at a foreign land. Where all you think about is how to navigate your way through. Where should you go, what should you eat? Focusing on the fundamentals and experiencing new things. Where you can put the problems back home on the shelves and simply not put think about them.

I need this form of escape back in my life. So that I can come back stronger each time.

When you realised that half the year have already passed. You kinda wonder where did all the time go and what have you achieved?

Unsure if time flies when you’re in your 30s or it’s because we are in a pandemic. Part of me wishes time can go faster and let’s get out of this pandemic fast and another part of me kinda wish time could pass slower as I don’t want to go through my 30s so quickly.

They say that 30s is the new 20s but body is feeling old already. Lol. Maybe that’s why I’m more health conscious too. With all the health issues and scares in the past 2 years, it’s really the top priority for me now.

But like they say age is just a number and as long as I look younger than my age, all is fine. Haha. Maybe that’s why I’m falling in love with my new short hair length that’s a refreshing look for me. I probably won’t be growing out my hair for the next 1 year at the very least.

I’m kinda of just rambling in this post. But I just want to remind myself that everyone have their own timeline and I’m ok where I’m right now.
