Does anyone else crave ice cream when it’s cold outside?🍦 Lick Ice Cream's seasonal flavors are in! We tried Caramel Apple Cake, Hazel's Pumpkin Pie, and Campfire S'mores. All were bursting with autumn flavors! We also sampled Caramel Salt Lick while we were there, as well as their vegan flavors - Coconut Cake, and Date Pudding Cake. Here are our top favorites:

✔️Campfire S'mores - This was our FAVORITE seasonal flavor, hands down! Little marshmallows in every bite; it's seriously h-e-a-v-e-n-l-y. The texture is so magical it's hard to describe. Try it; you won't regret it!

✔️Hazel's Pumpkin Pie - Strong pumpkin pie spice flavor! One bite, and you'll know it's sweater weather. A cozy, delicious flavor that can't go wrong.

✔️ (V) Coconut Cake - Who knew vegan ice cream could be this good? If you like coconut, this one's for you. Shaved coconut, not too sweet, a perfect balance. We really didn't even realize it was VEGAN!

🍕 🍕 we saw some folks posting about this pizza 👀 and now we know why 🤣 Jets is NICE - crispy crust, Detroit Style, and comes with the best ranch we’ve had in quite some time 🥵 have y’all had Jets yet??

🥵 ALL ABOARD THE BRUNCH BUS 🚌 We’re headed to 😋 they were recently voted as the best brunch spot by over HALF the voters in the 👀 in a food city, to have that sort of dominance is pretty crazy! 😮‍💨 They have the unique dishes, the beautiful esthetic, and the consistency we all deserve 🤣 see y’all at brunch! 🫡

🍔 There’s a new smash burger operation in town 🍔 located in the back of on Rainey St. - is a collaboration between & 🙌 after two years of some tasty R & D - they decided to sell these super cheesy, 1/3lb, slightly spicy burgers to the public 😋 if you’re going out to catch a game at the bars today or tomorrow - and you find yourself on Rainey…you should try and find these burgers 🤣 if you’re out on East - hit up - and if you’re north at all, we’d suggest 🍔 happy burgering, buddies 🤠

🍚 FRIED RICE FRIDAY 🍚 ok, that’s probably not a thing (YET) but if it were to be a thing - MOUR] would have ya covered 👀 with their pork belly fried rice bowl 🥵 the perfect combo of fried, fresh, light, rich - and local ❤️ MOUR] is a Riverside Austin gem 💎 and should be treasured 🙌 go check it out for yourself!

🍕 🍕 this classic Austin spot serves all the Italian-American hits - including a real nice CHEESY pie 🍕 we also really enjoyed the lasagna topped off with a big ol’ meatball! 🍝 the coffee and treats were spot on too ☕️

🐟 Friendly Fishy Reminder - might have the best fried fish tacos in Austin 👀 and Fried Fish & Friday’s go together like bread & butter 😋 they also have some fantastic Salsa Macha (if you’re unfamiliar with Salsa Macha - Ensenada should be your first experience with it ❤️) have a fantastic FRIED-DAY, friends!

😋 😋 there are a lot of solid breakfast bagel spots in town 🙌 here’s one you need to know about! The folks at WhamBam are in a little pink food truck / bus 🚐 and allow you to get SUPER funky with the flavors! This bagel is loaded with sausage, egg, cheese, jalapeños, chive cream cheese 🤣 and maybe another ingredient or two 👀 check them out! ❤️

🌮 🌮 we’re a day late for BUT we have a HUGE reminder that Vaquero Taquero is a top tier taco spot - and if you have yet to visit, you’re missing out! 😋 a couple of years ago they opened a spacious brick & mortar right on E. 6th & 35 - next door to 🥳 these tacos are huge, they’re authentic as heck, and they’re great people to support ❤️ check them out!

🤓 Responsible adults are planning brunch earlier than ever 🤣 and we suggest starting by Wednesday, at the latest 🗓 one of the busiest, biggest, and best brunch spots in town is located on site at - a spot that has established a size-able following in the short ~3ish years it’s been open 👏 does EVERYTHING and they do it all very well, but the brunch is only on the weekends and it’s our favorite version of CM 🥵 the place gets busy fast, we suggest getting there at 10:55 and grabbing a table right at 11am 🍻

🔥 🔥 Who here is team torta? 👀 This is our first Torta Ahogada (drowned sandwich) - it’s basically a super large sandwich, smothered in a spicy tomato sauce / broth / consume with some fantastic birria from Sabor Tapatio - a southside favorite off Stassney & South Congress 📍 they have a wide range of tacos, quesadillas, tortas, aguas fresca etc ‼️ they have it all and if you’re knocking taco spots off your list, make sure to stop by here this weekend 🤝

❤️ An Austin way to get back to the work week ❤️ is an excellent place for a burger - but did ya know they make a real nice breakfast burger too? 👀 bacon egg & cheese and sausage egg & cheese 😮‍💨 the eggs are made fresh to order and the cheese is super melty 😍 sub out for wheat buns for a bit of balance 💅😂
