Oribelle is a multi-faceted film composer, audio engineer, sound designer, session key- boardist/pianist and music educator based in Singapore. Oribelle is passionate about creating soul-stirring sound designs that can instil life into films and moving visuals. Under the tutelage of Brian O'Reilly, she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Music Technology from LASALLE College of the
Arts. Prior to that, she was placed on the Director's Roll for high academic excellence and graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Music and Audio Technology. As a musician, Oribelle received high distinction in an ATCL piano diploma from TRINITY College. She was resident pianist at Gallery Hotel Singapore and an opening act for the 2014 C.H.O.P.P.A. In 2015, she joined local rock band, Laid Comers, as keyboardist and is set to release an EP in May 2016. Having strong interest for audio production and music technology, she has sound designed at Mediacorp Studios and Ochre Pictures, and has freelanced on a variety of productions and post productions from music videos to indie films. In 'The 48 Hour Film Project 2014', her team bagged the Best Film award, and was showcased at the Filma- palooza finale festival in Los Angeles. On top of that, Oribelle has a passion for teaching music and has taught both privately and at music schools in group classes and individually to children and adults since 2010.
