An absolute joy to receive news of Hughjack Winston (Sonny), placing second in the Hampshire and Southwest United Retreiver Club working test. Handled by his owner , he placed just 1 point shy of first place. An unbelievably good result for them both, especially as Sonny is only just 12 months. I knew Sonny was destined for great things, and I'm so glad that Stuart is pursuing a competitive path with him.
I knew this mating would produce excellent results, and the proof is right here. Thank you, Stuart and .c.mainwaring , for giving Sonny such a great home and life. I can't wait to see more of his journey.

Hughjack Winston, now known as Sonny. The pick of the boys from our 2023 litter. A real stand out pup, who if we'd had room for, would have kept. Now owned by and .c.mainwaring , who are doing a cracking job with his training and providing him with a wonderful life.

Very wet day yesterday. Too wet for videos! So here's a couple of pics of the dogs on their last day of 2023. More to come in 2024 but for now it's a brief break for the pups. Roll on January
