As some of you might have noticed, I have NOT been replying to messages for a while. Firstly, I am really sorry to leave you all hanging about what I will be deciding to do in regards to training enquiries due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Replying to each individual would take far too long so I wanted to write a post that everyone could view but unfortunately this has meant I have had to wait to see how things have unfolded to make a decision.
I can now announce that I will be postponing all training. This includes postponing the training application process as I am uncertain of when things will be returning back to normal.
Nail training is normally booked far in advance and I donโt want anyone to commit to a date which includes booking and paying for hotel and travel arrangements to then have to cancel them as most places donโt issue refunds.
I also want to minimise any and all potential health risks to my students, my family and myself during this uncertain time.
I will still be here in the background working on some nail related behind the scene projects from home.
Please everyone, stay safe, follow government guidelines and fuel your creativity at home. Stay positive and take care of your mental health too! ๐

Hi you lovely lot... itโs been a whileeee but I have been extremely busy with training this year so far. You only realise once youโre here just how much time I invest with each student. I wouldnโt change it for the world but this means that Iโm left with the entire first half of the week GONE and then I have to fit absolutely everything from clients, social media, messages, forms, quiz marking, phone calls, brand responsibilities and brand deals... with cleaning, cooking and all that normal stuff too. Not to forget time with family including my very patient and supportive other half.
So, to be straight to the point... if you would like information on a 1-1 then please message me and enquire as it does only take 2 seconds. I get 100โs of comments on here and on Instagram weekly asking me to send info and whilst it would take you 2 seconds, it would take me 100 times that to send it to everyone who wants it. I hope that comes across in the right way ๐
Lastly, anyone whoโs waiting for any sort of response, I will be hopefully getting back to all messages Thursday or Friday ๐ much love to you all ๐๐

I wonโt chase any booking fees. Once a date has been paid for, itโs gone and the dates are only yours once paid. ๐

My birthday nails from the other week.
Iโm not going to lie... I took these off after a week Iโm sure of it. Donโt ask me how I functioned because Iโm ashamed to say I actually didnโt ๐ itโs been too long since I had this length. ๐ฌ
I used one of my fave colours... lilac by with a ton of stunning Swarovskiโs from including their brand NEW hand made pave flat backs ๐ป๐ป ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ - ๐๐๐๐๐
For anyone who has filled out the basic nail knowledge quiz or anyone who will be in the near future, I have completed marking 18 submissions so far. The maximum points score is 42. 30 is the pass rate and you will be sent the link to the online form straight away once marked, 26-30 I will pass with further research prior to attending training. Anything below is not suitable. I suggest investing in self-teaching with research and returning at a later date to fill out the quiz again. After testing the knowledge quiz equally on a handful on nail technicians and non nail related friends and family, I have gathered the passable average score. To attend my training, you must be advanced. To be considered advanced, not only must you be displaying decent quality work, but you must also be scoring enough on the quiz to demonstrate your knowledge. I do not expect everyone to score full marks but a lot of the points being lost are due to questions not being read properly, rushed and not adding enough answers for certain questions.
I can also see a few copy and pasted answers from google so please... donโt. It doesnโt help anyone and itโs also very awkward for me to know this.
Please...
Sit down with a cuppa, have a good read of the introduction and questions, and then go back through and answer them as best you can. Take youโre time. Not only does each quiz get printed and marked, I also write a full list of topics that need brushing upon. This takes time so please take yours too. Also, if you simply donโt know the answer to a question... I prefer an honest student. Simply guess and state that youโre not sure. It goes down much better than youโd think ๐
Update on 1-1 enquiries...
Iโm currently marking all of the knowledge quizzes that have been submitted since yesterday whilst my partner sits next to me and tackles some new messages ๐ shoutout to Shaun for his help to get the ball rolling quicker for you all (this is payback for him breaking my efile earlier this evening by accident haha).
Also... though there is no rush to fill the quiz and form out, the longer you take, the longer the process will be ๐
And finally... to the minority that repeatedly send messages despite my reminders that I can only go so fast when replying, you will be pushed to the bottom of the list each time you message as I work in date order.

Iโm the most politest way, I have NOT got time for anyone who doesnโt take the time to read the info properly at each stage. If you donโt put in the effort to absorb all information during the application process then the training will not be suitable. It will waste both of our time. Any of my previous students know that I will give my everything to each and every student during and after training because I want everyone to fulfil their potential and more. All I need is effort and determination and that starts at the application process.

EDIT - Please read my most recent post regarding business enquiries during Covid-19.
Morninggggg. To all that have enquired/will be enquiring about my 1-1 training ( replies were sent with basic info last week and Iโll be getting back to people today. Please note that due the amount of enquiries I receive that you will have to direct message to enquire. I simply donโt have the time to reply to every single person who asks for more info on my posts across all of my social mediaโs ๐
To apply for my training, there are certain processes I have put in place to make sure the training is right for you, and that students are equally as suited to my training too. One of these processes is the form that I send once the basic info has been read. This form is to collect information from you and for you to read about the courses, structures and requirements.
Over the weekend I had a complete re write of the form and I decided to remove the section that required you to upload step by step images of your work. This was put in place to make sure people were working at the level I accept for advanced training. I decided this because I understand it was taking too long to get a client and take photos during their appointments.
To compensate for this, I have introduced a quiz for all applicants to take part in and complete to demonstrate understanding of basic knowledge. Too many students are turning up to my advanced training without any knowledge of nail anatomy, hygiene practices and common nail knowledge and this takes time away from learning. Some might say that theyโre not interested in learning these things or that I donโt have to tech them but it is my responsibility to make sure that the basic knowledge is prioritised before further learning.
I hope you all understand and want to better your knowledge enough to be patient during the application process. Most 1-1โs will simply take your name, date choices and at a push, some photos of your work but I pride myself on tailoring the learning and making sure that nobody is running before they can walk. Though it might be time consuming, it makes learning much easier at the correct pace and order.

I often get asked what my availability and waiting times are like for 1-1 training and whilst I do have availability this year, the most part of the waiting is to get a response through message. I wish I could keep up to them daily but it is IMPOSSIBLE with the amount of enquiries I get (which Iโm very grateful for).
Sending information over, waiting for people to complete the online form, going through the form information, having a phone call with each student wanting to book... confirming dates, travel, accommodation, courses, requirements and booking fees takes a very long time so I can only book so many people in at a time.
So, good news, once you have a reply from me, itโs all hands on deck ๐
Please understand that whilst I wish I could reply quicker, I do find it more efficient to reply back to messages instead of messaging here and there and making the booking in process longer.

Finally I can share ๐ I was approached by the lovely Angelina from Nailpro Magazine months ago to do a feature of 5 acrylic nail tips inspired by Bali. The theme was so opposing to my normal style and even my colour palette, not to mention that Iโm a complete novice in 3D/4D art. Really proud of what I managed to come up with.
