This is a pen and ink drawing of mine from 1980. At the backside of it, the paper drawn on turned out to be a poster for the Iloilo Art Exposition which happened on the same year. The expo featured contemporary paintings at that time from the collection of Galerie Dominique and an exhibition of contemporary prints organized by the 101 Workshop. Printmaking lecture demo workshops were held as well. You could zoom in to see more of it along with the list of participating artists. Image from the poster is by Ofelia Gelvezon-Tequi.

Harana is a type of wooing by a young man for his beloved. This exhibit is also a kind of courtship through visual arts. A courtship without melody, a "frozen music" that talks heart to heart, feelings to feelings. These paintings are wooing, singing, pleading for our nature to value our environment.
The exhibition will run from February 3 - 16, 2023 at Art Lounge Manila – Molito Lifestyle Center in Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Artist reception will be on February 4, 2023, Saturday at 3:00 PM.
