8 years ago today I was a rock star, I was living out the dream I had since I was a little boy, playing at the biggest festivals, playing 300 shows in 3 years, playing gigs in every province, in the snow in Lesotho, on the beach in Mozambique, I had everything I ever wanted... and I hit rock bottom, I was sad, lonely and empty, I was hopeless, every night I went to sleep sad and every morning I woke up with a heaviness on my heart, I wouldnt want to go to sleep coz I didnt want to face another day of that emptiness.
In the passenger seat of a white bakkie on at a Joburg robot I gave up, I gave in, and I quietly I asked, "Jesus help me", and he did, for the first time in my life I felt like everything was going to be okay.
Jesus has given hope, given me purpose, given me joy and peace and a love I never even could have imagined, Jesus made me whole, gave me life, took away all my fear and doubt and anxiety, took off the pressure of trying to always please everyone and told me that He loves me no matter what and that He is so proud of me. He helped me forgive people who hurt me, helped me ask forgiveness from those I had hurt and took the constant anger I had under the surface out of me and replaced it with Love! Thank you Jesus! I love you Jesus!!! Jesus love you and he wants to do it for you too, just ask him, just say those 3 words, "Help me Jesus"

Jesus can save anyone, he can change your life forever, there is a loneliness, brokenness and emptiness inside you that only He can restore, He loves you and He wants to help you, all you have to do is ask Him, just ask Him
