I help overwhelmed moms stabilize their biology and realign their imbalanced hormones caused by stress so they can feel happy and enjoy their lives again
Scene: I was CRUSHING it. Getting it all done at work and at home, finding the time to run and do HITT workouts while still . Things would just roll off my back, too…until they didn’t.
Just like that, I was always tired trying to “do it all”.
At first I thought it was normal to be so exhausted while doing so much (that’s what my doctor said too…"it's just " 🙄)
but then I discovered I was running on and my adrenals were exhausted from “doing it all”...
➡️ Getting late night proposals done for work while my daughter slept on my lap
➡️ Squeezing in a HIIT workout while my kids were napping
➡️ Managing our budget
➡️ Meal planning for our family
➡️Taking care of the dogs
ALL. THE. THINGS.
Led to what I call which is becoming more and more common for the type-A, independent, go-getter moms who do it all.
I just didn’t feel like myself anymore, but it wasn't from lack of trying.
It was because my constant pushing, the stressors I didn't even realize I was experiencing, and the hormonal cascade that followed was depleting my body.
That’s why I created the Starter Kit.
Because there is no magic pill or one size fits all diet or protocol that will help address these,
BUT with an understanding of how to support a body with and stress-induced symptoms, feeling like sh*t can be a thing of the past and we can uncover the missing pieces of the multifaceted health puzzle.
Here’s what to expect from the Starter KIt:
1️⃣ Learn what the adrenals are, what impacts them, and why we have to look deeper
2️⃣ Training on how to support the body as a type A woman who wants to be able to enjoy spontaneity on top of responsibility (without having to pay in exhaustion later)
3️⃣ Symptom::Mineral Mapping table to gain insights into symptoms and the relationships between mineral groupings and what they reveal about root causes (e.g., digestion, hormone imbalances, inflammation, etc.)
4️⃣ And more
Comment KIT to get your copy of the Starter Kit.
Mineral imbalance is a root cause to almost 𝘢𝘭𝘭 symptoms moms experience.
Fatigue, anxiety, overwhelm, crashing by 3pm, low ability to handle stress, irritability, short fuse.
I can 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞 you - they all have an underlying mineral imbalance.
For moms I find mineral imbalances to be almost unavoidable, here’s why:
1️⃣ Most women in the 30-40 age range were raised in the era of low-fat, 100 calorie, dairy-free, fad diets that led us to a period of life where we obsessively tracked or restricted foods. This “diet history” is a massive stressor that leads to mineral imbalances and displacement
2️⃣ History of birth control use. If you want to know more about how birth control leads to mineral imbalances, check out this post → https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10108870850775809...
3️⃣ Stress. This one is a given, but being a mother is arguably the most stressful thing you’ll ever experience in your life. There’s the physical stressors of less sleep, less “self care”, less consistent eating routines, and more, but there’s also the mental/emotional stressors of never being able to turn off - to hear your own thoughts - to not be thinking about 10 things at once that leads the body to burn through extra minerals in the stress response and lead to depletion
4️⃣ By some estimates, moms lose up to 𝟒 𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝟏𝟎% of minerals during pregnancy. Think about it: your body is physically giving your baby what it needs to thrive. Think about this if you have more than 1 kid and never actively replenished your minerals between each pregnancy…
5️⃣ Breastfeeding requires extra nutrient demands (so much so that the RDA for lactating women for certain nutrients is often higher than that for pregnant women) AND extra time commitment that often leads moms to neglect their own nourishment and basic needs
(𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘴, 𝘣𝘵𝘸)
And yet…no one ever tells us these could be factors in how we’re feeling postpartum.
No one tells us to 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬.
But minerals are 𝘴𝘰 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 because they’re the spark plugs that kick off processes in our bodies.
❓❓❓ Want to have the energy to get on the floor and play with your kids?
You need minerals to create that energy.
❓❓❓ Want to have the patience to handle that toddler tantrum?
You need minerals to be able to ebb in and out of a healthy stress response (instead of getting stuck in it and always yelling)
But when our bodies are under stress - including from life, pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and motherhood - we use up minerals.
Which leaves us dysregulated. ❌
Depleted. ❌
And less resilient to stress (and motherhood!) ❌
So what can you do?
Well step one is to understand how stress has impacted your minerals so that you can understand how those mineral imbalances are impacting how your body functions day in and day out.

It’s really not as simple as “lowering cortisol” or (𝘨𝘢𝘴𝘱) taking adaptogens to help regulate cortisol levels.
Sure, those things can be helpful, but if you don’t know what stage of stress you’re in...
𝐚𝐧𝐝 you don’t know how your body has compensated for those demands...
it’s a bit like trying to clean the house while your toddler is actively “playing” with everything in sight. You may be cleaning up one thing but the rest is stacking up behind you.
This is why I use the Hair Trace Mineral Analysis (HTMA) with all of my clients - so we can know *exactly* what stage of stress they’re in and how that has impacted their body.
From there, we develop a plan with that as the starting point...because cortisol never works in isolation.

Friday the 13th bad juju?! I beg to differ. Nothing but celebrations over here 🎉
Fatigue, irritability, thyroid, weight, and even period problems are all a SYMPTOM of a deeper issue.
One where all roads point to ➡️ STRESS.
The kicker?!
Dealing with these symptoms is a major cause of…STRESS.
Creating a vicious cycle 🔄 that further exacerbates the issues.
Which means…
the only way to truly address these symptoms for the long term is to break the positive cortisol feedback loop and
repair the damage that has been done to your body from the vicious cycle of stress physiology.
Address those and watch your body heal.
Drop a ♥️ if you agree or find this valuable, otherwise the all-mighty algorithm hides it from everyone else 🙄
𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐫 𝐧𝐨𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐄𝗪𝐄𝐑 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝.
Stick with me here because I’m about to blow your mind.
To understand this, we have to start with metabolism.
At its most basic definition, our metabolism is the process our body uses to break down food for energy…and then how it 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲.
That includes vital bodily functions like:
• basic breathing
• hormone production
• reproductive system
• endocrine system (including your adrenal glands)
• digestion
• immune function
• detoxification
• hair/nail growth
• muscle recovery
• and much more
𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐭, 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐚𝐝𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬..
More stressors = more energy expenditure (so that you can “fight or flee”).
As energy expenditure INCREASES, we burn through the available resources in the body which ultimately leads to a slower metabolism.
Once metabolism slows, it takes longer and more energy to create energy, which affects ALL of our body systems…including digestion.
(𝘛𝘓;𝘋𝘙: 𝘢𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘮 𝘴𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯, 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴)
As digestion slows, enzyme and stomach acid production decreases and it becomes harder for the body to break down food (and supplements).
𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐫𝐲.
Which means…the more burnt out you are, the less ability you likely have to tolerate supplements.
And those that you DO take are likely increasing stress and your energy EXPENDITURE.
(𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘖𝘗𝘗𝘖𝘚𝘐𝘛𝘌 𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘦’𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘵)
Drop a 🤯 if you’ve never been told this or have been pushed supplements to give you that all-day-energy that it seems only your toddler has these days…
Picture this: it’s February 2023, 3 months from now.
After the stress of the holidays, the New Year, and the petri dish that was your home in 2022…
RSV.
Flu.
And that mystery illness that seemed to tear through the whole family - and back again.
𝐘𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫.
You’d hoped that once you got through the “busy time” of the year you’d finally be able to focus on yourself.
Get back into exercising like you used to do every day before you felt like crap.
Start eating clean again, since that’s always given you a boost in energy.
And even set aside some time for your hobbies to help you feel less angry all the time.
But instead of doing any of that…
You’re napping more.
Waking up every day, feeling miserable, stress levels through the roof.
Not being the mom that you feel you want to be.
Because you didn't take the steps to make a change for yourself, your family, and your future.
(𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘦)
Truth: I get that this is hard to think about…but have you considered it?
Are you willing to settle if this stays your reality for the next 6 months, 12 months, 3 years, until your kids are old enough to remember you being miserable every day?
Is that even an option for you?
If not, I’m here to tell you that it’s not too late.
I have a few more spots for clients in December, but I’m keeping the group small this month so that I can also enjoy the holidays with my family.
Curious if you’d be a fit and if The Calm and Balanced Mama Method can get you to feeling like yourself again for 2023? Happy, energized, present…?

From marrying a man who in every way seemed too good for me
…to a 𝐬𝐞𝐱-𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 roommate because I was too exhausted to give any more of myself.
And I couldn’t help but wonder if this was just what it was like to be a working mom?
As I explored this idea,
IT HIT ME THAT THE LIFE I WAS LIVING WASN’T IN ALIGNMENT WITH WHO I WAS.
I’d always done everything to the best of my ability,
So why was I settling for less when it came to the one thing I’d always wanted?
I had to find a way to “turn off” because I’d driven myself to exhaustion.
I was running on fumes and there wasn’t enough of me left to go around.
And that’s when I realized that everything happens for a reason.
𝐈’𝐝 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐲𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝…
…which started with myself, and my health.
My life didn’t have to be all OR nothing.
I didn’t have to choose work OR my family.
I could have them both – and I could feel happy and balanced –
- 𝘐𝘍 (𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘐𝘍) -
I put myself (and my hormones) first so that I wasn’t always running on fumes.
So I started focusing on breaking the positive cortisol feedback loop so that I could get my body out of fight or flight and improve my energy which lead to me not feeling so damn irritated all the time.
Doing that allowed me to anchor to who I COULD be.
Which ultimately led me to walk away from my successful career because it wasn’t in alignment with who I wanted to be.
And with new energy and confidence, I was able to become more of who I was meant to be in the process.
If it sounds too simple, it’s because it is.
And while simple does not equal easy...
I truly believe it is a very real possibility for you too if you are willing to put in the work.
Agree or no? Being in a state of fight or flight leads to mineral imbalances, hormone problems, and eventually symptoms
👉 Period problems and PMS?
👉 Estrogen dominance?
👉 Low progesterone?
👉 Slow thyroid?
👉 Blood sugar dysregulation?
👉 Insulin resistance?
THOSE are not the problem so stop trying to treat them like they are!
When it comes to our hormones, there’s a hierarchy, and I can tell you that those ☝️☝️☝️
𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐲.
But you know what is?
Cortisol - our main stress hormone.
You can think about your hormone hierarchy like a triangle.
👉 At the base, you have cortisol.
👉 In the middle of the triangle, you have thyroid hormones.
👉 And at the very top, your female s*x hormones.
So when you’ve been running on stress hormones for years…decades…
It goes without saying that the base of that hierarchy will be dysfunctional and dysregulated.
Which results in a shaky foundation for the rest of your hormones because cortisol:
👉 down-regulates thyroid hormone production
👉 diverts resources away from progesterone production, which is one of our main calming hormones
👉decreases metabolism which increases estrogen, leaving us in an estrogen dominant state
👉 impacts insulin regulation, helllllo hangry outbursts and shakiness
👉 shuts down our ovaries (because this is NOT the time to reproduce!)

And I know they feel like the perfect solution - simple, easy, and fits into your busy life…
BUT,
That’s also the exact reason they 𝗪𝐎𝐍’𝐓 work.
Because for busy moms 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 who have to take care of “all of the things”...
Who skip meals because they have too much to do or because they’re not hungry in the morning because stress has shut down their digestion…
Who squeeze in a workout whenever they can (or not at all)...
🚽 Taking supplements to fix your problems is the equivalent of throwing your hard-earned money down the drain (buh bye money!).💩
Here’s why: 🔻🔻
When your lifestyle is still depleting key nutrients needed for a healthy stress response then your cortisol will remain elevated and trigger anxiety, irritability, and impatience.
This takes your hormones out of alignment and makes you feel like you’re burning the candle at both ends
(𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨!?)
And you’ll continue to feel exhausted in the morning and crash in the afternoon.
And if you never repair and replenish the downstream effects of being depleted…
..your body will be unable to do the repair work it needs to help you relax, feel more rested, and reduce your irritability, moodiness, and anger.
And if you don’t have a self-regulating mindset that allows you to prioritize your thoughts, energy, and emotions…
..your brain will continue to perceive danger when there’s no threat (or the threat is relatively minor).
Which means...
𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝.
Where the only improvement you see is dependent on continuing to shell out the monthly cost of supplements.
Here’s the truth
We live in a world that tries to mask symptoms and never address the root cause 😷
So supplement companies HOPE you’ll be like most and stay hooked on the vicious cycle.
But the moment you stop?
You’re back at square one. 🟧
(𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘺!)
That’s why it’s so important to work from the bottom up.
Meaning, you address the root cause: overworked adrenals leading to hormone and nutrient imbalance

Many women come to me feeling like they’re not themselves after having kids
It’s mainly the exhaustion…
…the overwhelm and irritability…
…and generally feeling crappy.
They’ve been pushed workout programs, every supplement under the sun (whether or not they actually need them based on their unique biology), and macros, oh my!
But when those things don’t work, they feel even more frustrated, stressed, irritable, and exhausted…

Because under stress, our body utilizes minerals to release stress hormones
🔬 Let’s look at this through the lens of just one common scenario I see.
If you wake up exhausted in the morning and your first thought is, “𝘶𝘨𝘩, 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘺”...
..your brain perceives that negative thought as a threat (or stressor) and spikes potassium and sodium to help trigger a stress response and
💥💥 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐦!
You get a hit or adrenaline and cortisol (stress hormones) that spike glucose to give you the temporary energy and 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐥 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝.
But between the caffeine ☕ and the sky-high stress hormones, your body continues to think it’s in danger which causes your appetite to decrease so you skip breakfast
(𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘺 𝘸𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳!)
This causes cortisol to stay high ⏫ to supply your stress response (and you) with the energy you didn’t get from breakfast.
Which continues to burn through potassium and sodium.
Now, let’s say you add in rushing around trying to squeeze in a workout 🏃♀️ on top of making sure the kids are fed, bags are packed, and everyone is ready to leave so that you’re not late for work…
These additional stressors can cause you to start to burn through magnesium (𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 “𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨” 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭) to regulate your elevated sodium and potassium levels
This can lead to blood sugar dysregulation (𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘶𝘮 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘨𝘢𝘳 𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦). 🎢
Now, you’re overworked, undernourished, AND getting hangry and crashing.
𝐂𝐮𝐞: 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬.
This is great in the face of an actual threat, but in our modern life, there’s one big problem…
You never actually “fight” or “flee” (which your body is primed to do when it’s flooded with cortisol)

𝘚𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 “𝘸𝘵𝘧?!”, 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵?!
Give me a minute to explain where this disconnect comes from.
Our hypothalamus (in the brain) constantly takes in inputs 🕐 every minute, 🕞 every second, 🕖 every moment of every day and filters them for anything that may create an imbalance in the body like:
• Disrupted circadian rhythms
• Mineral imbalances
• Over-exercising 🏃🏽♀️
• Poor sleep habits 🥱
• Negative thought patterns
• Chemicals and toxins ☠️
• Burning the candle at both ends 🕯️
• Gut infection 🪱
(you get the point)
To flag as a STRESSOR.
This stressor increases energy demands in the body by:
Triggering your hypothalamus —> to tell the pituitary gland —> to signal the adrenal glands —> to release the stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline to raise glucose (aka energy) in a “fight or flight” response.
This is great under acute stress when you need your body to flood with energy so that you can quickly react in order to survive…
But if your brain is interpreting everything as a stressor, this HPA axis system can start to become dysfunctional:
• Your energy demand to respond to stress will eventually surpass your energy supply to respond to stressors (cue: fatigue)
• When your brain is busy telling your adrenals to produce stress hormones and get ready for a “fight”, it doesn’t prioritize production of non-life saving hormones, like progesterone, estrogen, testosterone (cue: mood swings, low libido, and PMS)
• Chronic cortisol levels can inhibit the negative feedback loop back to the brain that says “we’re safe” AND down-regulate the brain’s message to the adrenals to produce more cortisol in the face of additional stressors (cue: constantly feeling stressed and unable to cope)
See?! Dysregulated.
Now that you understand what's actually happening in your body, I’m sure you can see why super-literal people are so quick to write off “adrenal fatigue” as “not real”.
A newer, more technically accurate term would be “HPA axis dysregulation” to refer to a problem anywhere along the axis that causes hormone imbalances and symptoms like low energy and fatigue.
But the truth is: just because the term “adrenal fatigue” may not exactly describe what’s happening, it doesn’t mean the exhaustion and burnout from the impact stress has had on you isn’t real.
⬇️
Far from it.
⬇️
⬇️
So I'm curious: have you ever read/been told..."adrenal fatigue isn't real"?
P.S. - I still refer to it as "adrenal fatigue" because who’s got time to remember “HPA axis dysregulation” when you’re fatigued and low energy?! 😛

• High levels of fatigue throughout the day that have nothing to do with the number of times your kids woke you at night
• Inability to handle stress
• Irritability, frustration, and mood swings that make you go from 0-60 faster than your kids can get out another “but mom!”
• Cravings for salty foods
• Difficulty falling asleep at night, or waking up each night thinking about your ‘to-do list’ (especially between 2-4am)
• Overuse of stimulants (coffee, energy drinks, and soda)
• Suppressed immune system (every time your kid gets sick you’re right there with them)
She said she didn’t know.
Which honestly didn’t surprise me because all of those ☝️☝️☝️ symptoms are signs of a body under constant stress.
