Both counties are taking part in the Farm Credit Mid-America / Rural 1st Stock the Trailer drive to collect non-perishable food items for food banks throughout Ohio. The project also earns each participating county $500 for their junior fair program, with the chance to win even more.
Get all the details, including collection dates and locations, by visiting www.firelandsec.com/contests.
(Firelands will also have a box in our lobby to collect items through Aug. 16. Donations will be divided between the two counties.)
