Remembering those we've lost and the lives we are still fighting to save. -- Overdose Awareness Day 2024 stepworks
Today is Overdose Awareness Day.
Each life lost is a tragic reminder of the urgent need for compassion, education and action.
Addiction does not discriminate and neither should we. Let’s break the stigma and spread awareness. If you or someone you know is struggling, reach out. There is help available.
Education is the first step to making meaningful, positive change in our communities.
Our team at Stepworks was honored to collaborate with the Purchase Area Opioid Taskforce to discuss MOUD treatment at the Substance Prevention and Recovery Knowledge (S.P.A.R.K.) Summit in Paducah today.

Meet Access Center Navigator, Melissa!
Two years ago, Melissa joined the Stepworks team after graduating from Stepworks Residential and Stepworks Sober Living. As an Access Center Navigator, Melissa is often the first voice new patients hear. It’s a voice that genuinely understands.
In her spare time, Melissa loves reading, enjoying the outdoors, and concerts.
Thank you, Melissa! You personify the Stepworks mission to help people hurt by addiction reclaim their dignity and build a better life.

It has been my great pleasure to work alongside her and witness her excellence in all that she does." - Dr. Tom Ingram, Stepworks Founder

Recovery is more than just a job. It’s a calling. Every year, we recognize a team member who made the stepworks mission their personal mission… someone who personified Stepworks in 2023.
Help us congratulate Kassi Wright and Dylan Rogers, the 2023 Stepworks Team Members of the Year.
According to Residential Operations Director, Tim Moses,
"Kassi sets a high standard for her staff and is an example of a strong leader. She is dedicated and has worked tirelessly at creating a culture at our Woodland facility that reflects the Stepworks mission. She is committed to creating an environment in which recovery is possible and goes beyond 100% in order to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors has a chance for success.
Dylan is a great example of our motto: “we will walk with you.” He displays a passion for working with our patients and sets a great example of what a life of recovery looks like. Since stepping into the role of shift supervisor he has shown strong leadership qualities and has become Blane’s go to person."
We are thrilled these two individuals are a part of the stepworks team!
