Late night on a Sunday probably not the greatest time to post but there are a few new Guardians up! I'm going to be out of office this week and hanging out with family but the shipping pile will be dealt with as soon as I'm back. 💚 It was nice this month to work on a few slightly larger Guardians that I've had planned out on the table.

First: A handful of new Guardians will be looking for homes this next week. December 28th at Noon. A little late for holiday shopping but maybe not too late to treat yourself 🖤
Everything from next week will ship out in the first half of January.
Second: I've been pretty absent here for a few months and let's be honest, most of this year. I had grand plans for FearsomeBeast in 2023 but the universe said otherwise. That's alright though, 2024 is close and then each year after that. Next year will be 10 years of embroidered Guardians. That just blows my mind! A decade of FearsomeBeast.
I'm really hoping to make more work next year, bigger work, and use new art skills and materials as well! It's really nice to be excited about it.
It has been a hard year. My personal mental health has been a lot to deal with and it really took me away from making art. I thought the hardest parts of my decade might be behind me but as it turns out, rarely is anything that cut and dry. I am Neurodivergent, Autistic, with adhd and a handful of the other fun things that can come along with both those diagnosis. I am not upset about who I am and what those things mean for me, but I'll admit that they definitely make it much harder navigate everyday life. A lot of this year has been about trying to find ways to exist without being in constant burnout. And that in itself has been a bit burnout inducing. I'm looking forward to making more art and engaging with the world on my own terms.

I don't often post my other types of art here but this project is really close to my heart. The Congregation of Blessed Beasts started years ago as just a little shrine to departed animal friends and a donation drive to the local shelter. Now it's a full chapel in our camp and it brings me to my knees every year to see the pictures and stories of all your beloved animal friends.
This year we've finally gotten our collective skills together and made some pins and stickers and a prayer candle with 's perfect stained glass design and 's CBB logo which I'm probably going to get tattooed on my body because I love it so much 💖
Proceeds will help us get the chapel out to the desert and improve a few structures so we can keep on doing the donation drive and creating this space. I'd really appreciate it if y'all checked the website out, maybe picked up a pin or sticker, and looked at the donation page for the shelter! 💖

Started this a few years ago and just never got back to it. It was just a thought I had back then while I was trying to learn how to carve wood, but soon I'll post about what this idea had turned into! It's really nice to take small breaks from my usual materials even if the subject matter hardly changes. 💖

Vintage millinery flowers and leaves have been so fun to work with this year. I really love being able to bring even more 3D texture to a piece.
