We are so grateful for your continued prayers and support in helping others see better both physically and spiritually! With your support, we were able to see over 700 patients and distribute over 1,200 glasses. Everyone of those individuals were able to go home with an understanding of what it means to accept Christ as their personal savior and of course at least one pair of glasses. We were not only able to acquire supplies, equipment but we were also able to support local pastors and churches in connecting with their communities through a different service.
As we prepare our hearts and minds and pray for our next mission, we ask that you consider becoming a partner. This can be done in many different ways, but of course the easiest way is through your considerable donation and sponsorship. Please contact us with any questions and please pray about how you can partner with us. Many blessings to you and your household!

As we’ve come to an end with our clinical work, in Colossians 3:23-24, we are reminded of this profound purpose: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." These words have guided us throughout our mission, inspiring us to give our best in every task, knowing that our true reward comes from the Lord.
We pray our work inspires those of you reading this post. (We saw 145 patients yesterday in Târgu Jiu.)

Between yesterday and today, we’ve had all kinds of excitements. Yesterday we met the mayor of one town and today we met the mayor from another. Yesterday we found a child locked in the car while the mother was parting. Today we met an eight-year-old with cataracts in both eyes and a 72-year-old who did not know how to read or recognize shapes. We had a lady who just couldn’t stop crying and prayed with a team member. We’ve had a child who clung unto another team member and didn’t want to let go. We’ve seen old friends, we’ve made new friends. We’ve had the news station visit and were on the local news and we’ve been interviewed and had 40 minute sessions on tv proclaiming the gospel. It was a rollercoaster kind of day but we praise God for all of it. Thank you for your continued prayers, we know we couldn’t have done it without your involvement and prayers! (We saw 110 patients today.)

We had all kinds of exciting things happen today. Ending up on the local news was definitely a highlight.
Later we had an interview and we were able to share the gospel on the local channel. Sharing soon as well.

We started out this morning in Livadia and ended the day in Baru. We saw 155 patients and had some amazing experiences. In the morning, we worked at an abandoned school house. They still have the marks from the frame of Ceausescu, for those who know. But after 75 patients there, our hosts put out a feast. The thing about Romanian people is that they always love to feed you! Of course, we always enjoy it. 😁
In the afternoon at Baru, we were hosted by a very small, sweet local church, it looks like a very quaint chapel. At first, we weren’t sure we had room. We were going to set up outside in their local cemetery for optical. In the end we all figured out a system to stay inside and we kept the waiting patients outside on benches to minimize the noise inside. Of course, we got fed well after again. Hence, the amazing food photos.

Hunedora - Hot and humid. Yesterday we saw 139 patients. We were really tired. Pray for strength and endurance for the team. The church team here were very hard working with very much servant hearts who are on fire for the Lord! It was nice to see though people praying as I walked around, people smiling through the wait times and the heat. Ps. AC here is very limited or non existent in some places. Both churches we were in had no AC.

Today we go to two towns, it was a tag on to our original schedule but we hope and pray it’s beneficial, and not a set back.

What a blessing, the local pastor here created these on his own. The pamphlet says “come and see “. I am still moved by this. Their church members and youth went through the parks and distributed these. On the back of these, each patient has an appointment time. Very organized.

Today was our first day in Romania and we had a late start (noon) but it was a great day. We prayerd, we laughed, we cried and saw 140 patients. The team picked up so well and did so well!

Pray for Alexia, a 14 year old who has no family and we couldn’t help because of a very high prescription. When she was told we don’t have what she needs, she sat down and cried for a few minutes with all hope lost. We promised we would find her glasses and send them to her when we return. We were able to tell her that she is loved and cared for by our father in heaven and that we care about her as well. She still managed to leave with a smile after finding a pair of “cool” sunglasses for her.

Today is our day of travel to Romania. Some of the team have already made it there, some are in route like us. Please pray for our travel as we encountered flight changes and delays.

Giving a shout out to this amazing family who has provided and helped pack over 200 packets for children in the local orphanage and villages we’ll be visiting. I am so excited for those kids! On top of getting an eye exam and potential glasses, they also get some goodies.

We want to give a shout out to this amazing lady, Martha (picture of her and her son) for all the optical help and support she’s been in getting the word out, collecting and neutralizing glasses. Thank you Martha! ❤️

Thanking Don for years of service in helping and providing international eyecare by working with the Folsom State Prison and the Lions Club International to collect, repair and redistribute glasses. We are so grateful for your contribution to our foundation as well! Today we were able to pick up 1,000 pairs of glasses from Don because of his incredible work!

I think God has a bigger plan for us as we have about 1,400 pairs of glasses thus far! We aren’t stopping though, so if you want to contribute, please continue! Readers with higher power are very much needed!
