Yesterday evening I dyed 10+lbs of wool. Today, I put 4 giant fleeces in a pre-rinse.. Masham and zwarbles being rinsed today. Beautiful fleeces!
Wash Station is set up and running nicely! Washed 50+lbs 3 days ago.

Been hard at work today getting roving (top) braided, batts carded, and my intern Ruby helped me warp 3 looms and she slayed the reeds for me! On a roll!! Getting ready for a big show this weekend!

Lots of fibery goodies being created! I hired a helper who came today. We talked about everything fiber.. Did some examples of rolags, hand combed top, picking fiber by hand and by triple picker, made a batt from both of the carders. It was a beautiful day. I feel so lucky to have met someone with the same enthusiasm as I have for everything fiber, sustainability, cheese making, and general farming. Even after her visit, I felt the bug and continued to make batts. I made 4 additional batts. That's 12 batts in 2 days! I have such a fiber addiction!!

Darn drive band broke today.. Ordered a new one but I was on such a roll!! I guess this means, I need to keep extra bands around.. I would have finished 6 skeins the last 2 days ugg.. Guess it's time to work on something else!

I love to cook! I love to find ethnic recipes!! So, Pancotto for dinner tonight.. Tuscan Bread Soup.. We had some crusty baguettes plus lots of fresh veggies, diced tomatoes, bean medley with pigs feet and ham hock that I cooked yesterday in the instant pot.. Winner!!!
I am on FIRE!!! Started some new themed scarves! Heres a steam punk version.. I've not named it yet, any suggestions? Mom helped me warp this rocking scarf! What do you think??

My current project.. All hand spun and hand dyed yarns and locks will be used to create a gorgeous art scarves!
Picking VM (vegetable matter) out of locks this morning. These locks are going to be blended and then spun chunky! I cant wait!

Just finished this 100% wool skein. Originally from raw. I dyed each of the colors! The yarn has been Navajo plied (3ply). My plan is to set the yarn and then break it up into smaller skeins. The skein measure 460 yards! Spun on my Spinolution Firefly.

Just finished a lesson in weaving. Miss Destinee from Florista Leadville created this beautiful babies blanket at studio! She used handspun yarns for the weft and soft merino yarn for the warp. Beautiful, soft and so very boho!
