Did you know that Dufferin Aggregates, A CRH Company, created the first known manmade wetland in North America where the endangered Jefferson salamander has successfully bred at the Acton Quarry in Halton Hills, Ontario? In fact, the Wildlife Habitat Council recognized these efforts in corporate conservation, and we received their Reptiles & Amphibians Project Award in 2021.
