A traditional Weetabix breakfast is a no-brainer, but Weetabix cake for elevenses? Oh, YES! 🍰
Follow these simple steps to create a homely, delicious treat that’s perfect at any time of day:
🥄 Ingredients:
2 Weetabix
200ml semi-skimmed milk
100g sultanas
1 tsp mixed spice
2 tsp powdered sweetener
2 large eggs
100g self-raising flour
👩🍳 Baking Steps:
1. Warm up your oven to 180’C (fan 160’C) and prepare a 450g loaf tin with non-stick baking paper.
2. Let the Weetabix soak in the milk until thoroughly soggy, then give it a good mash.
3. Add the excitement - whisk in the spices, sweetener, eggs, and flour.
4. Pour the mixture into the loaf tin and let it bake for an hour to perfection.
5. Once done, let it cool on a wire rack and then dress it up with your favourite toppings!
