The annual Spring Tonic Race in Vernon, IN raises funds to support Vernon gymnasium improvements.

Thanks again to everyone for joining us this morning for the Spring Tonic 5K and the Tea Time 1-Miler! Look for photos and a final message from us in the near future, but for now enjoy the results. You all rock!!! 🏆
Congratulations to all of our finishers and our overall award winners - we had repeat champions in the 5K for the women's and men's divisions!
Good morning Spring Tonic participants! It's shaped up to be a perfect day for a 5K this morning!😁🏃♀️
If you have preregistered for the Spring Tonic, we will open check-in at 8am inside the Vernon Gym (29 Washington St., Vernon, IN 47282). If you would like to walk up and register, that will also start at 8am and close at 8:50am in the same location.
Prerace activities include: a group stretch and yoga warmup inside 🧘, display of Orlo Blomquist's Spring Tonic activities over the years and his 1996 Olympic relay torch 🏆, lighting of the Spring Tonic flame🔥, singing of the national anthem🇺🇸, prayer🙏, and start line group photo📸.

Orlo Blomquist, founder of the Spring Tonic, was a man before his time. He recognized how important wellness of the whole body was to a happy, long life, and he invited others to join him in the journey.

The Vernon gym is a fabulous community space that can host a variety of events!
The aim of the Spring Tonic is to assist with important improvements, such as renovating the bathrooms for accessibility! Stay tuned for how much we have raised over the past two years and how much more we need to hit our goal 🧐
