Riverside is a newer river cruise line that purchased the river cruise ships of Crystal Cruises when they went out of business. Riverside operates three of Crystal's former ships on the rivers of Europe. They just won Best River Cruise Line at the Globe Travel Awards. Great information here! Some of the tips that we think are most important: Dress appropriately, know the rules, and (the best one) sign up for Global Entry or TSA Pre-Check (your credit card company may reimburse you for this; ours does. Also, Global Entry includes TSA Pre-Check, and they are the same price, so go with Global Entry.

Richard Branson and team have created a great product with Virgin Voyages, the new cruise company from Virgin Group. One ship finished with two more on the way. Many innovative spaces onboard, as well as a great app for iPhone and Android to help enhance the cruise experience. Also, these things are included in the cruise fare: WiFi, over 20 dining options with NO extra charges, group workout classes, gratuities for the crew, and basic beverages (still and sparkling water, juices, sodas, coffee, and tea). And probably the best thing for some people: it's Adults Only (18 and over). I can hardly wait to try Virgin Voyages. If you feel the same, or want more information, let us know!

Sandals Resorts continue their growth in Jamaica. In addition to the previously-announced Sandals Dunn's River and Beaches Runaway Bay, Sandals just announced that they will be building Sandals Royal Dunn's River right next door to Sandals Dunn's River. The two properties will have exchange privileges (guests of one resort can enjoy the beach, pools, restaurants, bars, etc. of the other), similar to Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados.
