It’s the summer of love!
Having been through the worst possible year for weddings we’re raring to go and we’re building our Events Team.
We’re a farm based wedding venue at Druridge Bay and we do weekend and midweek weddings (usually Saturdays with some Thursdays and Tuesdays).
Now we’re looking for lovely local folk to join our team of bar staff, glass collectors and back of house staff and even alpaca walkers!
You’ll be trained and gain experience in a unique hospitality venue as part of a friendly team.
Experience in hospitality is great but we’re all about finding the right people to work in our team and around your family commitments.

Hello
I’m Penny I live in the beautiful county of Northumberland with my two adopted Siamese cats and pet Hare “Ridley”. Some of my more obscure ideas included learning to drive an HGV and buying a super fast motorbike as well as taking myself off to Australia for a few weeks.
I have enjoyed working with a variety of people during my life whilst determined to do my best during a varied career, starting life in the catering industry and working in hotels and restaurants. I then took at totally different direction and worked in retail and direct sales before deciding to re-train as a Rehabilitation Officer working with vision impaired people. For nearly twenty years I helped blind and partially sighted people with their confidence and skills to live a fulfilling life, before going back to my grass roots and opening an award winning B&B and Wedding Venue based in Northumberland. Having passed the reigns of my business onto a new team I still have a passion to work with people and help them create memorable events.
I have gained so many skills, knowledge and qualifications over my life so far and it’s great to keep learning and working with different people. I love being creative and building relationships with those people I work with to bring ideas to fruition and generate memorable times.
It was so delightful working with the couples when running the B&B and wedding venue that I decided to become a celebrant. This path gives people the freedom to generate a truly individual, meaningful and completely unique ceremony that isn’t restricted by the standard script, readings and music.
