Wedding season is here & we've got a design over due for showing off 🤩

Back in 2020, we had the honor of creating a keepsake for a lux New Orleans themed wedding fit for 2 Queens 🥰

When the guests sat down for dinner, the centerpiece on their plates appeared to be, in a lovely frame.

When the brides were seated, they asked their guests to flip their frames over, surprising everyone with a small scale replica of their custom welcome sign featuring silhouettes of the brides, in their respective wedding gowns, leading a second line.

Each mini art work was complete with its own stand, ready for their guests to take home and place on a shelf to commemorate their special day.

Nothing quite says bespoke wedding like artisanal gifts for your guests. 🤍

My Valentine's Day Statement.... 2013

Very often in the studio, the topic of conversation is life love and the pursuit of happiness.... If you've visited, you know what I'm talking about... and something always stands out to me...
heartbreak knows no boundaries....
aka, everybody's got some kind of s**t... it's just true

Pretty much everybody's been through something, everybody's been through something they never thought would happen or never saw coming, and everybody's been lonely... There are no perfect people, no perfect lives, no perfect families.... and for sure... no perfect relationships....

After a recent breakup, I found myself a wreck... and somewhere in that wreck of me, I saw this piece in my head... and obsessively started working on it.... really obsessively... I intended it to be my beautiful broken heart...

I worked on it day and night... when friends would call for me to do something, I would tell them no, I was working on my heart... little did I realize...

I was actually working my heart... you see ... I was a wreck, but not just over the breakup...

As I was putting my heart together, piece by piece... I came to realize that I was a wreck over old breaks... breaks I hadn't fixed... like from my divorce...and my son being sick... my mom being sick again...

I was holding on to so much heartbreak, there was no way I could really love anyone... You can't really love with a heart that's not working right... and if you're is broken... you have to fix it...

Somewhere in the hours and hours of thinking, and cutting glass, and putting this heart together... so carefully...I found some peace, I let go of those old heartbreaks... or maybe I just fixed a heart so beautifully that I freed mine in the process....

I don't have all the answers... but I know this... those who are happy, have hearts that are free... they've more than likely had them broken once... but they fixed them ...

So I'm offering this one as a symbol to everybody out there who get's what I'm talking about... either because you've found your peace, or because you know you need to... If you're life's not what you want it to be... take a long hard look in the mirror... be honest... and fix your heart... put it back together, beautifully...somebody out there needs you to =)

After all... when hearts work right, fewer other hearts get broken...

IT'S DIVA WEEK!!! This Friday, the French Quarter will be filled with the cleverest of women, in elaborately designed, hand beaded corsets 🤩

It's one of Carnival's most incredible displays of fine crafted art & we have the ladies of Divine Protectors of Endangered Pleasures, aka, Divas to thank for this couture Mardi Gras tradition 💜

When they're not promenading around the Quarter, the Diva's are dedicated to raising awareness & funds for breast cancer 💚

One of the first Krewe's to ditch the trashy plastic & step up to support the greener, local artisan crafted throws movement - I've been so very lucky to have their support since 2019!!! 💛
