🎉🎉Happy Birthday to our second litter including our beautiful Willa! 🎉🎉
They grow up way too quickly but I think I speak for us all when I say they will always be our little babies! A year goes by so fast but we are so proud of all of our pups that have grown to be such beautiful dogs! We wish them all the love, cuddles and treats they deserve!

Last weekend we had a family hunting day! The girls were shivering and I dont know if it was the cold water or the sheer excitement but they both loved it! Those retrieving instincts are strong and Willa had no hesitation in helping us out and really did us proud! And Lucy, even with not enough training on our part really knows what she is doing and tends to be a better hunter than Braden is 🤣

Just a little throwback to our first litter! While raising puppies is a lot of hard work, we do miss those cute little faces and the puppy piles as they all snuggle together for a sleep. But the most rewarding part of all is seeing our pups go to their new homes with such loving families! What a journey it is! Maybe once Willa is old enough we will be ready for another round 🤔

We are loving watching Willa grow! We took her out to shoot some clay targets and slowly get her used to the sound of the gun and... she loves it! She immediately wanted to retrieve the targets so now our next challenge is to teach her to stay through her excitement!

This weekend Lucy and Willa went camping! They absolutely loved the time outside exploring together and we now have 2 very tired pups! We have also discovered that Willa loves to swim, but Lucy doesn't like to swim with her as she tries to dunk her under 🤦‍♀️

Happy 1st Birthday to our gorgeous 1st litter of puppies!
We can't believe it has been a whole year since they were born. We have been getting a few updates from our pups and are so happy to see them growing and thriving in their new families! They are a big part of their families lives and will always be a part of ours too as we share the joy that they bring to those around them. We hope today is filled with fun, walks and lots of cuddles for our gorgeous 1 year olds! 🥰

Today Willow went to her new home! It was the absolute definition of bitter sweet. We are so excited to see her go to her new home and we know she is going to be so so loved. But it is always sad to say goodbye to the puppies we raise! She is such a sweet pup and such a cuddly teddy bear and will definitely be missed!
All the best to Luke and Willow, we know you are going to have so much fun together!

Yesterday we said goodbye to the beautiful Sadie (pink)! She has gone to some friends of ours so while it is goodbye it is only for now! She is going to love her new home with a sister to play with and 3 kids to keep her entertained!
Now we just have our little belle (blue) for sale!

We may be biased but we think our girls are the absolute cutest in the world! Look at those faces! 😍🥰
They also got a bath last night and new collars today so they are looking even better!

We said goodbye to these 2 cuties this morning! These 2 are going to a couple of families that are friends with each other! The puppies had their 2nd vaccinations today! What chaotic cuteness it was! We had our niece and nephew come along with my sister so while the vet and I did the work, the puppies got to play and have all the cuddles!
Now they are home and having a good nap after a chaotic day!

Goodbye to our little orange girl! Today she met her new mum and I think it may have been love at first sight for them both! I also think she may have been the most photogenic puppy out of the lot so Willa is going to have to step up her game now so we can keep the cute photos coming.
We just know she is going to love her new family and her new home and we wish them all the best!

We finally did it! We chose a puppy!!! Welcome to the family Willa!! She has such a happy fun little personality and we have fallen in love. This was such a difficult decision as we love all of our beautiful puppies but she stole our hearts and we don't mind at all! 🥰

In case you were wondering, yes life is getting a little hectic these days! This week the puppies have been weaning and are now on their own food much to Lucy's relief! They have gained a lot of confidence and love to explore and find adventure. But they also love to come to us for a good cuddle and a nap which absolutely melts us!
They have all had their vaccinations and been microchipped today so we are preparing ourselves for the inevitable goodbyes ahead. Breeding is such a bitter sweet journey but we love seeing the joy our puppies bring to their new families!

Well it's been a big week! The puppies are all growing beautifully and have doubled their birth weights! Their noses and paws are turning from pink to black and are starting to look a little less potato and a little more puppy.
They are showing signs of walking and we just know the next couple of days we will have them walking like little drunk puppies everywhere.
The next week will again see some big changes and we might even get to see some eyes opening!

Welcome to the world little ones! Yesterday was quite the experience, Lucy started showing signs of labour on Monday so we were on high alert all night only for her to wait until 11.30am yesterday to have the first puppy! She gave us a bit of a scare and took a long break between puppy 1 and 2 so we organised to take her to the vet to get her checked out. Driving there with Lucy in the back and puppy on the lap we heard a little cry and discovered she had a puppy in the car on the way there! The vet gave her a look and an injection to help her keep going and we drove home only to have another puppy birthed in the car on the way home!
In the end we have 7 beautiful healthy pups and 1 exhausted but well mumma. An all yellow litter with 5 girls and 2 boys we couldn't be happier!
Here's to an amazing, tiring and cute as can be 8 weeks!

For current news- Lucy is booked in for an xray on Monday to hopefully get an idea of how many puppies we are expecting!! After that it is only 1 more week until we welcome some more gorgeous puppies into the world!

🎉BIG NEWS🎉

It worked! Lucy had her ultrasound today and confirmed that she is pregnant! Unfortunately ultrasounds can't tell us how many puppies there are but there are definitely puppies there!
Let the adventure begin again!

We are on our way! Melbourne here we come! Lucy is having another blood test today to confirm ovulation and then we are booked in for TCI tomorrow morning! So fingers crossed that in 2 months we will be welcoming some more puppies into the world!
Lucy is just excited to go away with mum and dad and has been conserving her energy by having a nice sleep in the car.

And it begins again! Lucy has just begun her heat cycle so we will be making some appointments tomorrow and mentally preparing to do it all again. This will be the 2nd and last litter for our girl Lucy but the good news is that we are intending to keep a little girl ourselves to keep her lines going!
She is an incredible dog in so many ways and we love that her pups are showing the same beautiful qualities that she has!

Lucy and Luca explored the beach today and we can say with confidence that Lucy still has more energy than her little pups! The puppies are 10 weeks old today and thanks to the beautiful updates from their new families, we know that our pups are settling in great and showing everyone just how smart they are!

And just like that we are empty nesters! All our beautiful pups have headed to their new homes and we are already missing those cute faces! But there is so much joy in seeing these puppies go home with families that we know are going to love and adore them!

We have 4 beautiful boys up for sale! 3 black and 1 yellow. Sire and dam have both had DNA testing and hip and elbows scored to ensure that puppies will be as healthy as possible and the perfect addition to the family. Puppies are pure-bred and will be sold on the limited register with dogs sa. Puppies will be ready after the 2nd February once they are 8 weeks and will be wormed and vaccinated up to date.
Our aim in breeding has been to carry on the excellent retrieving abilities of the labrador retriever so that our puppies will not only be great family pets, but also an excellent working dog.

Puppies are $4,000 and will require a $1,000 deposit to be paid.

We have puppies!!!
In the early hours of the morning yesterday Lucy came to us to let us know it was about to happen. Due to sleep deprivation we just didn't have the energy to post yesterday. It was a very long and exhausting day for us all.
Sadly not everything went to plan and we lost 2 puppies. It is amazing how quickly you become attached to them and it was very upsetting for everyone. But we have ended up with 5 beautiful healthy puppies!
Lucy was exhausted but is recovering well and the puppies are steadily gaining weight. We can't wait to watch these little jelly beans grow up!
