It finally happened today,
I had the appointment with my primary care doctor we all dream of, both as a patient and as a provider.
It was on-time. I felt seen and heard. It was efficient and productive.
We had a great authentic conversation. I asked questions and they were thoroughly answered.
I left with all of the documentation required for the next steps and expressing my gratitude.
It is possible.
You can be the caring and compassionate resource your patients are looking for. You don't have to work harder or hire more staff. You don't have to leave the system you are in or take a pay cut.
I support you in creating the space, beliefs, team and practice (yes, even in a large corporate system) to have all of your appointments be like this.
