Kildare Hunt Pony Club Mounted games trailer has been stolen from Punchestown. -Ifor Williams 505 green. Kitted out with shelving & packed with Mounted Games equipment. There was a bulldog lock on the hitch while parked on grounds. The only external feature is that it had Kildare Pony Club number plate on rear. It has been reported as stolen and we are advised to share across all social media to aid its return. Thank you
Our National Breed Show Sat 2nd Sept in Punchestown. Entries are still open, but closing Friday 25th.

As the dust settles after an amazing Dublin Horse Show, just starting to post some of our Members achievements. First up is Ali Keating, on her mum's Captain, who competed in a testing 6yr old and over Irish Draught Performance Class and also in the 6yr old and over Working Hunter Class. Well done Ali. The Irish Draught Kildare Branch would like to send their sincerest condolences to the Wilson Family on their loss of Timmy Wilson Sr. Timmy was a long standing member of The Irish Draught Association and a member of the Laois Branch. May he rest in peace.
Another Kildare Branch member having a good day at Mullingar Agricultural Show. Michelle Lucey with her 4 yr old gelding Bouncer's Son had a busy day. 4th out of 12 in a very competitive Middle Weight Hunter Class. Then 4th again in the Ridden Irish Draughts. Novice working hunter, after a lovely clear round and only his third round ever he came 6th out of 20. Sonny is by Moylough Bouncer out of a Gurraun Zidane Mare bred by James Melody.
A very well done to Kildare Branch Member, Tracy McDermott on her great 6 year old Burgage Silvercrest aka Harvey, winning the Heavy Weight class at Mullingar Agricultural Show and placing 5th in the Irish Draught Ridden Class. Harvey is by Beechmore silver crest , out of an Aimee May mare.

Well done also to Tracy Piggott on her gorgeous mare Graigueaverne Rose who is Bellamont ex Mulroy Rose, 4th in a competitive draught class and 2nd in the Heavh Weight Hunter Class. Well done to another Kildare Branch Member and a gorgeous Irish Draught mare.
Super well done to Tracy McDermot today at Flavors of Fingal. What a show. Tracy on the gorgeous Harvey by Beechmore Silver Crest out of an Aimee May mare, 6 year old and only a few competitions under his belt goes amd wins the Heavy Weight Hunter Class today and was then Reaerve Champion! Super well done to both. So fluent and consistent. Some fantastic Irish Draughts today. Not to be forgotten the enormous help from assistant Oliver Ryan. We were lost without you today.

The Branch would like to congratulate Aoife Horan, with her lovely mare Holy Wells Bella by Grandpas Diamond x Dunkerrin Grey Mist who qualified for Dublin yesterday in Tullylish. A really strong class, so well done Aoife. We will all be there cheering you on!!
A fantastic day at Mullingar Showing Show Of the Year for Pamela Byrne and Pierre Lemmer, Ballywire Legacy won the yearling ID Class and then went on to win the TRI Equestrian Championship. Gortfree Queen placed 2nd in a big 2 year old ID class.
Great day for our members yesterday - Tracy McDermott was first in her Heavyweight class and 6th in the ridden draughts at a very busy Gorey Show with her 6 year old Burgage Silver Crest, aka Harvey, by Beechmore Silvercrest - only his second show so a massive well done Tracy!
