I’ve been thinking a lot about how to make my way back here/introduce myself properly and it’s just not happening… I mean, well first of all, this is like “third times a charm” right?! This is not the first time I’m making my way back here… 🙈😅😁
This time around I’d like to do it differently though, hence the difficulty getting started… So, instead of struggling trying to create the perfect post, with the perfect photo, I’m doing it the opposite way.
This is me 👇 a couple of days ago, just getting started with our Christmas decorations and I believe that this actually is a perfect photo, because its me Al Natural. No make up, no filter (obviously), there’s a hint of my “silver lining”, all my ”life lines” all visible, no need to mention the perfect hairstyle and yes, I have some kind of rash which I’d put some soothing cream on. 😂😂
A part of me is thinking that I’m crazy sharing this photo and the other part is cheering me on, because this is the way I look (maybe apart from the hat… 😜) a lot of the time and if there’s anything I wish for this group to enable, its very much to create a space where we all can feel safe to be ourselves. 💜
Does this mean I always go for “al natural”? No. If that’s your thing, good for you! I on the other hand, actually feel really good when I put some time and effort into my “enhanced appearance”, but I also like staying in my well over due shorts, a tank top and bed head all day long.
I’m on this very beautiful journey where I’m starting to truly embrace all of me. I’m discovering all my gifts, qualities, peculiarities, “weirdnesses”, my uniqueness, basically everything that makes me me. To me that equals being genuine, I’m being unapologetically me, which is where it all starts! So not is it only completely deliberating sharing me as me, it’s also an important message to start things off from!
The hat by the way, is also really representative, since I absolutely love everything about Christmas!
I live in Spain since 3,5 years, with my spouse and our four children, which also explains the tank top in the middle of Christmas preparations… ☀️😍🎅
